Quigley connected her geology studies to wine while a student at University of California, Santa Barbara, and now helps winemakers identify their true terroir. “I focus on developing an understanding of the vineyard that is both scientifically accurate yet accessible and engaging,” she says. “My goal is to support responsible farming and thoughtful winemaking decisions to help my clients express their own unique piece of the planet in their wines.”

She also produces the engaging Roadside Terroir podcast, first showcasing Santa Barbara with Burgundy up next. “It provides an insider’s look at terroir for wine geeks and professionals who want to fully experience the geology and terroir of their favorite wine regions.”
