Thomas Michael S on Nov 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've had several similar sized wine refrigerators. IMHO the most important specification is the warranty. If it's not listed, and CS doesn't know the answer, don't buy it.

I need to know how I can download a manual ?
Suzanne D on Jan 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The Wine Enthusiast should be able to answer this question. It's ridiculous that you'd ask a customer to answer it, like you don't even know your own products!!!
Does this product ship in a plain box, or the original product box? I would like to give this as a gift, so do not want the recipient to know the contents upon arrival. Thank you!

Does this unit come with a lock? Or is one available?
Cathy on Jan 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't believe so. I bought this unit for my son, so not sure if one is available. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer. Hope this helps.
Can this be installed in a cabinet without a door.?
Bev S on Jan 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If the cabinet is off the wall 3-4" and the backing of the cabinet is open. Otherwise you need approx 4" all around for venting. 3-4" on each side, top and back.
Does it come with the doors hinged on left-hand side??
Joe N on Jul 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This unit is hinged right only as you face it . The small sized units are all right-hinged .
Lower chamber not cooling?
Suzanne Z on Jan 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have not had any issues with mine but I would suggest removing the back panel and cleaning the fans off. It might be a case of debris blocking some airflow. Wish I had more to offer...good luck.
Can I store standard-sized, 12 oz bottles of beer in the top portion of this unit?
Carleton T on Dec 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This unit is not designed for beer cans or bottles. It also will not get low enough for beer serving temperatures.
I have a tight space. Can the back of this refrigerator go right up against the wall?
Frank S on Jan 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The back of the refrigerator can basically be flush with the wall. The owner's manual does caution that some ventilation space should be provided (roughly a 2" clearance if I recall accurately). I placed mine between the wall and a breakfront and so far it is working just fine, with minimal clearance.
does it come with ice maker?
marty on Dec 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The Wine Enthusiast Silent 21 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Refrigerator with Curved doors does NOT make ice. We do have a Beverage Center with ice bar, Item # 268 68 50 02, which can freeze ice.
Hi - has this unit increased your electricity bill significantlly? Thanks!
Susan1234 on Jan 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I haven't seen an marked difference in our electricity bill. However, this doesn't run as silently as expected. Often I am surprised at how "loud" it's operation is. When first employed, took quite some time to reach the desired temperature... (a few days in fact). But I love the curved look of it and was happy with the capacity.
Hi will this accommodate any magnums or champagne bottles?
Will P on Mar 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Magnums will fit if you remove the horizontal rack at the top of the bottom compartment. If you keep that in place, magnums will not fit, but 4 champagne bottles will fit standing up. The horizontal compartments are too narrow of champagne bottles. Overall a good secondary wine fridge.
What does it mean when it flashes E1?
Theresa B on Mar 5, 2018
I loved this wine cooler for about a year. Then it started acting up. I bought the extended warranty but packing and shipping it would have cost more than buying something else. It finally stopped working all together.
Can it store larger bottles as well?
Roger S on Nov 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it can. All the shelves are removable allowing you to custom it any way you would like!
mrraj on Jul 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The only 'parts' I'm aware of are the shelves which can be configured differently depending on the sizes of your bottles. In my case, I took two of the shelves out to allow for more vertical storage. There also is a drip pan which collects any condensation. This fits on the floor in the back of your unit. Enjoy.

BEST ANSWER: Please call our customer service department at 800.648.6058 and they can assist you with this. Thank you.

Gladys M on Dec 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Mine beeps when my grandchildren play with the digital touchscreen and every time my wife walks by the unit and bumps into the digital touchscreen.
My fridge is not holding the proper temperature. Top portion reads 90degrees and does not change when we adjust the temp. Called customer service and got a disconnected message?
PJ C on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Make sure that your fridge is not close to any walls and the air vents in back have plenty of ventilation. When my temperature drops it's because the vents are dirty or is blocking airflow.

David A on Dec 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I had a problem with my unit, and the customer service representative took care of me immediately. Highly satisfied with the product and customer service!
Is there a warranty on this product...yes or no?
jay a on Aug 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I believe there is a one year warranty on this product... as I remember. I have the silent wine refrigerator in my office not 4 feet from my desk. It is completely silent and has performed true and steady since I received it.

Works Fine, But It Has Design Flaws
Positive - looks good, so far works well and temperature is generally okay.

Negative - it beats me how a company called Wine Enthusiast can sell a product to hold wine bottles where the shelves are so incredibly narrow. I have trouble getting at least half my bottles into it, and they are not weird designs or anything. Simply unbelievable how tight the shelves are and it is already full of torn pieces of label (would an extra 0.25" really have made a difference?!). Also, for the standing shelves...this is primarily for open bottles, so why would you need space for SIX standing bottles which then reduces the horizontal capacity dramatically - for that reason, i don't even use the standing shelf...I just try to squeeze in more bottles horizontally. The lighting is also beyond a totally dark room, you can just about see a faint glow. You lose 2 stars for these gripes.

It's a good product, it is holding the temperature, but the design of it is lacking.

Top Compartment Does Not Hold Temperature
The cellar looks good and runs quietly. The top compartment holds temperature at 55 and will not go lower despite running constantly. Bottom compartment holds temperature at 53. The unit has been running for a week, empty. Ambient temperature in room is 72. Beware if you want to keep white wine at serving temperature. Perhaps this unit is faulty.

Top Chamber not cooling
My wife and I gave this wine cooler to our son and his wife for Christmas. When we went to watch the Super Bowl I learned that the top compartment was not cooling, even when temp was set on 46.

totally unacceptable. Encouraged son to call and switch out the unit.

Frustrated Dad!

Good for tight spaces
I downsized my 36 bottled wine cellar for one that held less bottles. It works great for tight spaces. My two concerns that keeps this from getting 5 stars is 1) It will not house some of my expensive bottles. It only holds the shorter bottles. The note only mentioned wide width bottles may need to eliminate shelves. I don't have a problem with my bottle widths but with some of the lengths. I wanted to keep less bottles but I definitely wanted to be able to keep my expensive wines at the correct temps so this was a miss in this regard. 2) I accidentally bump the top temperature setting all the time. It is very sensitive and sometimes too late before I realize the setting has changed.

A Great Practical Wine Cellar
Received my 21 Bottle Curved door wine cellar and I am enjoying it. Simple to operate, maintains temperatures accurately and the flexibility of having my open unfinished bottles stored upright is a huge hit in our home. Recommend this product as the perfect gift for any wine collector.

Not as much room
We expected the inside to accommodate more bottles inside with the stand-up section in. Because it doesn't that piece is of no use to us. Also the bottles must be on the smaller size to fit in the rack. The cooling aspect is good.

An Excellent Product
This was our "gift to the house" this Christmas, and we couldn't be more pleased. It looks great in a corner of our dining room, it handily stores the number of wines we usually keep, and its features are very nicely designed. Highly recommended.

All in one!
I could not be happier with this cellar! It looks great, very quiet, and extremely versatile. Since I am the type who does not always finish a bottle upon opening the area for open bottle storage is a god send!

Stopped working after 60 days
Top section still chills; bottom section stopped. Ordered 6/13/16; it's August 20th. Hopefully Wine Enthusiast will send a replacement.
