What is the diameter?
null on Dec 20, 2011
BEST ANSWER: 24-1/4" Dia.
will champagne corks fit in, also do you have to have 300 corks to use, or can you just keep adding to it? thank you
jade t on Jan 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We cut a round out the box that the lazy susan came in and put it in the bottom to glue the corks. This will allow us to easily change it out in the future. We cut the height of our champagne corks so they would fit. We even left the metal caps on the Veuve Clicquot corks.
How do I get the sticky paper off the plexiglass?
Henny J on Jun 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Wine Cork Lazy Susan Kit should come off relatively easily. You just have to find an edge that starts to come off and then slowly peel the protective cover off of the plexiglass. Goo-gone will work if you have any stubborn little pieces.
Does it come with glass top?
null on Jan 19, 2012
BEST ANSWER: No, as stated in the description, the top is plexiglass. It fits inside the wood outer frame very securely and almost tight BUT not too tight that you can't lift it out if you want to show the corks more closely. We LOVE this item and have it on our kitchen/breakfast table to enjoy every day. We found it took about 20 corks less than the stated 300. ENJOY! Blondie
two questions
1) I assume no need to glue the corks onto the base, thinking the need to play around and replace with new collections from time to time
2) A little confused with how it works with the depth, the corks lying down or standing up won't be leveled?
Tom on Jun 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is recommended to glue the corks using hot glue gun, but standard white glue or wood glue also works. Place corks horizontally or vertically, one or two at a time. Use a ruler as a guide to ensure level rows. You may need to sand or cut the ends of some corks for a better fit.
About how many corks are needed? I fail to see that 300 are required. Sending as gift and would like to send the approximate number of corks as well. Thanks, mc
mc on Dec 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It will depend on the design you want and the corks themselves. You will definitely need over 200 and possibly 300 depending on what you want.

Holes on bottom are not for the screws
In reading other reviews it sounds like better directions are needed for assembly. I first tried putting the screws in the predrilled holes and discovered as others did that the screws were too short. However, knowing the company would not send the wrong screws, I realize that the four white pads go in the holes, not the screws! The screws then went into the wood easily with no need for predrilled holes. My lazy susan spins easily. I am worried about the plexiglass scratching over time but know that I can take it to a glass place and they can cut me a thin piece of glass to fit.

A unique gift
Great product, but needs instructions for securing the bottom rollers. 4 screws should be simple enough, but there are 4 pre-drilled holes that look like the spot where the screws should go. That is the spot where the stoppers go. Spins perfectly if installed properly, if you force the screws into the pre-drilled holes you will end up bending the roller section.

Good product! Fun to assemble.
Good for a gift! Gave it to my parents for Christmas, and they really like it. Larger than expected, and unfortunate that it uses plexiglas instead of real glass, which would be a bit classier. Expensive for what you get, but a fun gift.

Looks great
I just set the corks in and did not glue for now. So they slide around but that way I can add corks from special bottles over time

Screws are too short.
This is a very attractive and interesting product. However, in assembling it, we found that the screws provided were not correct and we had to buy the right size, and we were disappointed to find that the top was not glass, although we realize that glass would have been much heavier than acrylic. We will be using it as a serving piece, bot now have to be concerned with scratching the top surface.

Cork Lazy Susan Review
Very nice looking and easy to assemble. But turntable won't turn smoothly or easily. We tried WD-40 and still won't turn well. Top part is fine but we can't use it on our dining table to rotate things as planned. It is just a display piece for our corks.
