Plat ext 5000ti
Quiet, no vibration, powerful (I run it on low speed),
Why didn't they come up with one like that 20 years ago?!

WhisperKOOL Extreme - Extremely Nice
We converted a small, exterior room into a wine room - as permanent storage for our collection. This sealed, insulated room was built with our late-1930s home to hold a large swamp cooler -- an early version of central air, added to the homes built just after the Hover Dam was completed. The WhisperKOOL unit vents directly to the outside - through the old swamp cooler exit vent. The "through-the-wall" installation was fairly easy, just a bit of simple carpentry; though the unit is tad heavy for one person to lift into place. The weight is due to its very high-quality, steel construction; very solid feeling, nice finish. Best of all the unit looks awesome once it's installed. It adds a real high-end look to the room. And, even on low-power it vents up across the ceiling perfectly, evenly chilling the wines on the +9ft tall racks on the opposite wall. The unit is rated for enough of a temperature differential to keep the cellar 55F with outside temperatures up to 110F - which we occasionally hit here in the Las Vegas area. Time will tell how it holds up but it seems up to the task.

So far so good.
Working as expected so far. Way heavier than my old N'Finity unit. Make sure you have 2 people to lift it into place.
