Can anyone share what kind of mounting hardware they used, for those of us that aren't contractors?
Mike F on Dec 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In the ceiling, we used 4 swag hooks. On the wine rack, we used 4 D-Ring hangers. Be sure to pre-drill the holes so that the mounting screws don't split the wood. Then we used 1-½" chandelier chain to hang it. We were pleased with the result.
How do I hang this from a suspended ceiling?
Mark B on Jul 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I am not a contractor but I think using long eye bolts that are anchor in the studs of your suspended ceiling.
This is a beautiful wine glass rack. We get many compliments. Hope this helps.
Hi, can someone please tell me the overall dimensions of this rack? Thanks

BEST ANSWER: Size: 4"H x 37"W x 27"D; Chain - 36"Enter an answer to this question.
Can the chain be shortened? I have a very low ceiling in the bar area?
Delylis D on Aug 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: My rack arrived with a shorter chain, but I'm sure if you get a longer one there's way to work around making it shorter. Don't let that stop you from buying the rack. I'm super happy with mine and the quality is great. Hope this helps!
Can this rack be secured directly to an overhead surface w/o the use of chains? The surface is reachable over the bar.
George N on Jun 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: depends on the kind of glassware you plan on hanging. I have Riedel Vinum Extreme Cabernet and Vinum XL Pinot glasses, and the bases are too big to go in the opening flatly. I have to tilt them to get them in the rack, and that requires at least an inch or 2 clearance from the top of the rach. You could do it if your glassware has a base of 3" or less. Otherwise, you can mount with shorter chains than the one provided or add some kind of a spacer.
What size Wine glass base will this accommodate?
Rose T on Sep 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Rose ...... The stem glsss holes are 3 3/8 inches in diameter. My glasses have 3 inch standard base. Some of my "Riedel " glasses are slightly larger. Never had a problem with this item.
How heavy is the rack?
Tavito on Feb 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I believe the rack is about 20 lbs. without the glasses.

Love it!
I hung it above my Trilogy Wine Cellar Credenza - it is a perfect match and completes the space!
Holds 3 red wine or 4 white wine/champagne glasses securely in a row. 6 rows altogether.
If you tilt the glass while you insert it through the hole any size of stem base should fit just fine.
The chains look cheap from up close but frankly after you hang it and put your glasses in it it will look so awesome that you won't mind any more.
Hanging it at 2 point works just fine, because you will not push the heavy wood around with your fine stemware anyways.

Love the rack, but had to stabilize.
As with others, I didn't like the silver chain that came with it, but that was easily fixed. I went to Home Depot and replaced it with two 3ft Bronze chains (#70074). I hung it with two Brass Antique hooks (#70441) right into the 2x4s, 14.5" from the wall on a slopped ceiling. Both can be found in the ceiling fan dept. The colors are a bit off each other, but on the ceiling you can't tell.
I didn't like it swinging when I put glasses in or out, so I took two adjustable L brackets I didn't use hanging some blinds, and secured the back to the wall. You can't see it, as I put the first L upside down (adjusts up and down) and the other going out over the top of the back piece of the rack, which allowed me to put a very small wood screw into the inside of the rack (make sure you pre-drill). This also allowed me to make sure it was level.
Now the rack looks great, and doesn't move at all.

The best wine rack ever!
It was worth the wait! I love the way it looks and also the space-saving aspect of it. I also love that it is made of re-used wine barrels which makes it completely unique and there will never be two that are alike. The color looks great in my place - a cherry stain. The only thing I would suggest is that they offer a range of stains so that more people could use it in their homes. For instance a dark brown/black stain and a light/pale stain would give you more potential buyers but with that said, the cherry stain is perfect for us so we just got lucky!

Love it, but
I would have liked a choice in color of hanging chains

Vintage Oak Wine Rack
Rack is nice but has a couple of issues. Chain is bright metal, rather than dark tone as in photo. The dark stain finish is inconsistent, outer trim pieces have blotches of dark color, and slots are splintered and show light unfinished wood color beneath.

Where is it?
It's been almost 2 months and I haven't seen the item. I wouldn't have known the first one I was shipped was damaged if I hadn't checked the shipping progress and found out my item had been delivered and signed for by someone in Georgia. Great but I'm in Pennsylvania and my credit card paid for the item. I called to inform them my product was delivered to someone else and only then did they investigate and tell me the product was damaged and sent back to the manufacturer. When I inquired when I would receive the replacement I was told that they had to make it first and there was no way to tell how long it would take. So it's nearly 2 months later and not only hasn't my product been shipped, it hasn't even been made. Merry Christmas.
