What is the difference between these glasses and the non-value set Reidel Sommeliers Bordeaux glasses?

BEST ANSWER: the only difference is price. With the value set you get two for the normal price of one. This is a good value for some great large glasses.
is the price of $115 per glass in a set of two glasses or is the total price for a set of two glasses $115?

Value set not the same as the individual glasses
The old saying....if the deal looks too good to be true.... While the glasses are the same shape and quality crystal, the thickness is half what it is with the individually sold glasses. Affraid to wash them for fear of snapping the stems in half. Nice try but you should mention the differences.

cheap knock off
Don't buy these if you look for good glasses

These have the same form as the 'real' sommeliers. but they are MUCH lighter, more fragile. You don't feel you have a luxurious item in your hand.

I made the mistake of ordering a bunch of them, using them once for a party, and thought they felt weird. Then compared them to the other glasses I had, and quickly noticed the difference.

Not the same as the regular Sommelier glasses
While there is nothing "wrong" with these glasses, they are very thin and delicate. We have the "normal" sommelier Bordeaux Grand Cru and broke one. I ordered this so that we would have a spare. Not thrilled. Every time I wash them I am afraid they will break. They just are not the same. I should have spent the same amount of money and gotten one that wasn't a "value set."

Great lead-free version of the original
These are not the same as the original Sommeliers glasses.
They are lighter because they are lead-free crystal.
If you want a beautiful piece of stemware that is lead-free, get the value set.
If you want a beautiful piece of stemware that weighs more, contains 24% lead, and costs twice as much, get the original Sommeliers glasses.

Just the best for enjoying fine wine
My second set. Love these . The glasses are very thin and delicate. The advantage by being thin it’s easier to enjoy the nuances of wine. It’s almos as if the glass isn’t there.

A great wine glass at a great price.
