What makes the perfect champagne? It’s a wine with refinement and elegance. An exhilarating tension of flavors. A perfectly calibrated dance of textures on the tongue. From this vision came Laurent-Perrier’s Grand Siècle.

Grand Siècle Champagne is a grand cuvée comprised of three different and exceptional declared vintages, each of which brings a certain character to the final blend. It was the belief of the chef de caves that no single year could fully embody the spirit of a perfect vintage, so they set out to defy expectations of what a prestige champagne could be. It was named Grand Siècle (“Great Century”) in honor of the era of Louis XIV, who was known as “The Sun King.” It was during his reign that fine wine appreciation and gastronomy came into being.

The first Grand Siècle, No. 1, was released in 1959 and each new Itération is noted by a number. Now, 63 years later, the House is pleased to present a milestone bottle: Grand Siècle No. 25. Like previous Itérations, it is produced solely from Grand Cru vineyards, and No. 25 is a cuvée from the 2006, 2007, and 2008 vintages. Each remarkable in their own right, they come together to bring the freshness, finesse, and structure Laurent-Perrier is known for.
