I do not actually want to use this for serving food. I am actually looking for something like this (or even this) with holes drilled into it to display the multitudes of decorative (useless but pretty) wine stoppers we have been given over the years. Any suggestions? I could buy this and have my husband drill the holes but I thought a new product idea might be the answer. Thank you! Susan

BEST ANSWER: They sent this to me to answer and I am not sure I can. It is not very wide just the width of one barrel slat so I am not sure it would be what your looking for. I wish it was a little wider but I use it as a decorative piece in my bar with either votives or glass beads resting on it.

Perfect size for a group of 6 - 8
Nicely done, sturdy. Larger then I expected which was a happy surprise. Received a number of compliments.

Low Quality Item
This item is not as large as it appears in picture. Needs to be made with more than 1 plank. Returned item.

still deciding….
The wood is, understandably, cracked and quite textured on the inside of the curve, and it smells like varnish. I love how it looks but I'd be hesitant to use it for food and that was to be it's sole purpose. It was going to be a gift and I'm hesitant to give it.
