Winter Gin & Tonic Cocktail

Courtesy Jared Brown, master distiller, Sipsmith Distillery, London

“A little lower in alcohol than a regular gin and tonic, it’s filled with beautiful flavors,” says Jared Brown of this striking, cold-weather refresher. For more of Brown’s boozy inventions, check out SIP (Mitchell Beazley, 2019), Sipsmith’s recently published cocktail book that features more than 100 three-ingredient recipes.

Ingredients

1 ounce London Dry gin
Tonic, to top (Brown recommends Fever Tree)
1 ounce Sipsmith Sloe Gin
Orange wedge, for garnish

Directions

Add London Dry gin to highball filled with ice. Top with tonic. Drizzle sloe gin over top, Garnish with orange wedge.
