Have you seen the iconic Wednesday Addams dance, choreographed and performed by Jenny Ortega as Wednesday Addams in the hit Netflix’s series Wednesday? It’s an understatement to say the wildly odd dance has received social media attention. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Camila Cabello has put their spin on the now-iconic moves, and you can even catch the dance being performed at clubs.
The original dance was performed to “Goo Goo Muck” by the Cramps in the fourth episode while Addams was at a school dance. And though you may not catch the Wine Enthusiast team posting our own TikTok video of the moves (yet!), we sure know how to party like Wednesday Addams. In fact, we can’t get enough of this Chocolate Espresso Martini-inspired Wednesday Addams Quad Cocktail. Here’s how to make your own.
Who Is Wednesday Addams?
Wednesday Addams is a character from The Addams Family, a fictional family that’s appeared in everything from New Yorker cartoons to feature-length films. She’s identified by jet black hair tied into two pigtails and a typically deadpan, emotionless and morbid demeanor. She is well known for being goth-like, obsessed with death and always wearing black and white outfits. She is the only daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams and is Pugsley Addams’ sister. In the Netflix series version, Addams possesses psychic powers.
What Is the Wednesday Addams Quad Cocktail?
The cocktail combines vanilla vodka, dark crème de cacao and brewed espresso. This combination is inspired by a particular scene in Netflix’s Wednesday in which Addams attempts to order a cup of coffee. In the scene, she appears almost out of thin air to demand espresso from a barista, despite the machine clearly breaking down in front of her.
“I need a quad over ice. It’s an emergency,” she barked at the barista. “It’s four shots of espresso.”
We know that four shots of espresso may be a bit *much* for some. That’s why we cut down on the coffee (though, feel free to play with the proportions if you, like Addams, require that much caffeine) and mixed in some vanilla vodka and dark crème de cacao for chocolate martini vibes.

How Do You Make the Wednesday Addams Quad Cocktail?

Ingredients
- 1 ounce vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce dark crème de cacao*
- 2 ounces freshly brewed espresso
- coffee beans, for garnish
*Chocolate liqueur can be substituted if preferred.
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except coffee beans, to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously until chilled, 30 seconds. Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with three coffee beans.
