All cocktails at Los Angeles restaurant Double Take are named for cult classic movies, a nod to the venue’s studio stage design. Hitchcock fans will recognize “Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)” as a song written for the 1956 thriller The Man Who Knew Too Much.
Fans of Syrah, meanwhile, will pick up the bold red wine’s hallmark black pepper and berry flavors that are magnified via a peppercorn-infused vodka and strawberry syrup in this Sangria-inspired drink.

Ingredients
Black Peppercorn Infused Vodka
In sealable glass container, combine 1 cup vodka and 2 teaspoons black peppercorns. Cover, and allow 24 hours to infuse. Strain into bottle. Stored in a cool, dark place, this will keep indefinitely.
Strawberry Syrup
Starting with fresh strawberries, use juicer to yield 1 cup of strawberry juice. Add 1 cup granulated sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Transfer to lidded container. Stored in refrigerator, this will keep up to 2 weeks.
