Named after the restaurant’s rooftop garden where the drink’s purple basil grows, this sparkler uses local New Jersey blueberries and Philadelphia’s Bluecoat American Dry Gin.
“I’ve always associated bubbles with celebrations, and let’s face it, summer should really be just one long, three-month celebration,” says Kulisek.

Add the blueberries, basil, simple syrup and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Muddle to release the juice and essential oils. Add the Lillet Blanc, gin and ice to the shaker, and shake until chilled. Strain over ice in a rocks glass and top with Prosecco.
