BEST ANSWER: Stemware is very high end. Rims are thin like you would find at a fancy restaurant and make a nice "ting" sound. We've had this set for years and will buy the same replacements for accidental mishaps. Highly recommend to friends, family, and connoisseurs. Cheers!

I have about 12 Reidel glasses that are about 6 years old. The ones used regularily have developed a smudge around the top of the rim (like lip marks). No matter what I do, I can't remove the stains. Have tried mild scouring pad, soap, vinegar. Would an electric dremel toll buffer or using a steam cleaner make a difference?

BEST ANSWER: If you have been washing them in a dishwasher and your water source is too soft., that can cause scarring that is immovable. I'm amazed you have riedles that old! You must be a very careful individual!
I am replacing ones that broke . The ones we have are vinum cabernet/bordeaux they are 9" tall. Is this the same glass as cabernet/merlot/bordeaux?

Great quality Great value I love these
We use Riedel glasses every day. The proper glass really does make your wine taste better. We have 7 different styles now and will buy more as they come on sale. We can't afford them otherwise. They are very delicate, but so worth the trouble. If you love wine, try these glasses!

Great product, lousy packaging
The Riedel glasses are great. Bought these as a gift but was dismayed to find "Pay 6, get 8" plastered all over the box. Embarassing to give a box with that all over, fortunately the recipients were good friends and appreciate a bargain. Get rid of the chessy "pay 6, get 8" or put it on a removable label. Even if I kept it for my own, I would not want that splashed all over the place.

Great Service
I was thoroughly happy with the service from Wine Enthusiast. One of my glasses came with a snapped off stem and they replaced it immediately with no issues. I would definitely recommend them.

These glasses came with a film on them
We have many Riedel wine glasses and these glasses were a gift. I have never had the problem with any Riedel glasses but these came with a film on the glass that we are having a hard time getting rid of. What happened.

Red wine glasses - Reidel
One of the glasses broke during the first dinner party they were used. I was extremely disappointed that I could not replace one. I'll likely never make a purchase like this again.
