Reviews wines from Portugal and France. Roger Voss is a veteran wine and food author, and a journalist and has been writing about wine and food for the past 25 years. His books include France: A Feast of Food and Wine; The Wines of the Loire; Pocket Guide to the Wines of the Loire, Alsace and the Rhône; and Fortified Wines. He is based in Bordeaux, France, and reviews the wines of France (except those from the Rhône, Languedoc, Alsace and Burgundy) and Portugal.
Since April 2020, Sandrine Sommer has joined Moet Hennessy as Chief Sustainability Officer. She oversees Moët Hennessy Sustainability strategy for the 25 Wine & Spirits’ Maisons and implement CSR initiatives worldwide in all markets.
With this internal ecosystem, she coordinates initiatives to regenerate soils in all terroirs, to mitigate climate change through the value chain, to support communities around the world and to empower people within Moët Hennessy.
Before that, Sandrine worked for 13 years as Chief Sustainability Officer at Guerlain where she created and developed a game changing Corporate Social & Environmental strategy.
Agronomist, and winemaker, with a master’s degree in finance, Stanislas Milcent has been working at Moët Hennessy since 2002. After growing responsibilities in Finance for Moët & Chandon, Ruinart and Veuve Clicquot, Stanislas came two years in California as VP and CFO for
our wineries in Napa Valley. Back in Champagne in 2015, Stanislas took over quality, food safety and environment for Champagne Houses. Since 2019, he also manages Research & Development.
Stéphane Hallaire created Reforest’Action 11 years ago to enable companies and citizens to take concrete action for forest and climate. Founder of the crowdplanting concept, Stéphane brings the voice of the forest to the leaders of major companies and to the media.
He initiated the Global Forest Summit in March 2021 to strengthen an international multistakeholder dialogue for forest protection and restoration. Since the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration is launched, Stéphane Hallaire wants to create a Generation of Reforestation Entrepreneurs in order to empower citizens around the world to create revenues by restoring their Environment.
Sébastien Roumegous is a French agronomist who aims to scale up regenerative agriculture, he is the CEO at BIOSPHERES and the CDA (Centre for the Development for Agroecology) specialized on regenerative agriculture and viticulture design, and Member of PADV (Pour Une Agriculture du Vivant), a French NGO specialized in Healthy soils. They conducted more than 100 projects with his team in 12 countries and 4 continents the past 10 years. They work today for farmers, cooperatives, municipalities and food and luxury industries to make the regenerative agriculture transition simple and secure.
