Émilien was born in Champagne into a family of winegrowers. Named Sparkling Winemaker of the Year 2021 by the International Wine Challenge, Émilien Boutillat is the youngest Chief Winemaker to lead Piper-Heidsieck. The most awarded Champagne house of the century,* Piper-Heidsieck continues to be celebrated for its innovative ideas and commitment to excellence. Now, the House adds a new accolade to its long list of achievements: B Corp Certified, with a 91.9 score.
