Shipped separately from wine cellar and installation on the N'Finity Pro 166 is inside unit just below the zone separation shelf. You will have to remove wine and the shelf to get to it but that is not too difficult.
But to find that information out I had to contact the service department. There is absolutely no mention of the charcoal filters in the N'Finity Pro 166 manual anywhere! No picture of where to find it, no diagram on how to change it, and most annoying there is no information on how often to replace it (annually)! I know it is a new feature to the latest model but how hard is it to update the manual?

Haven't used the replacement filters yet. Just received my replacement cooler which is working great. The unit that was replaced had a bad thermostat. I have the filters on hand when replacement is needed
The 4 extra filters were delivered on Sept. 6, 2016 and did not come with the ordered wine cellar which arrived on August 17, 2016. I had to phone twice to get this delivery which I thought would come with the cellar. Otherwise, the filters are good.
What else can you say about a filter, especially when just bought and no need to use for a few months. Even then, when I change filters, how will I know whether changing improved cellar performance. Further, how will I know whether it performs better at all with filters than without?
So, yeah, they appear to be pretty good filters, albeit expensive for some plastic with charcoal.
Appear to work well, but how do you really know? I found it pretty difficult to remove and replace in one of my cabinets. In the other it was much easier. The exactness of the "hole" in the back of the cabinet may not be as good as it could be, but it still worked after making up a tool to turn the filter so I could pull it out. It doesn't tell you about having to turn the filter in any of the instructions in order to remove it or tighten the new one in place.
