While the typical Pinot Bottle is 3 and 1/8 inches in diameter, some of the pinots in my collection have larger bottles with diameters up to 3.5 inches. Will these bottles allow the shelves to pull out freely with out scraping the shelf above or would i need to remove a shelf to accomadate these larger bottles? thanks
Danny C on Oct 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have a lot of large Napa Cabernet bottles in which I had to remove a shelf and adjust the heights on many shelves so I would imagine you would too on any wine cellar you purchase to accommodate the Pinot bottles. The bottom area is open where you could possibly put these bigger rounder bottles to maximize your space. All the shelves are adjustable so you don't have them too crowded to scape the labels and for ease of pulling them out. If you're between the M size and the next bigger one, go for the bigger one. I'm out of space already... Hope this helped.
Is this unit a built-in type or freestanding unit ?
Maria on Jan 31, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is a free standing unit but it can be built in if you build it on a platform 3 inches off the ground that is open at the bottom to allow air to get through, leave 3 inches behind the unit and 4 inches above the unit.
How do you control the humidity?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There is a tray of lava rock at the bottom of the fridge; soaked rock gives a nice 60-70% humidity. If it drops lower, just add a little water (in my experience, this has to be done very infrequently--I've only done it once in nearly a year--but it probably depends on the ambient humidity).
When our eurocave was delivered and set up, it appeared to be leaning to the back. The delivery person said it is supposed to do that. It does not rock or anything like that but noticeably leans to the back. Does this seem correct?
Pat S on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Our Eurocave is dead level. A rearward leaning unit would tend to make the door close rather than stay in a neutral position when accessing the contents. Adjusting the front leveling feet may help the situation.
Who services the euro caves if needed?
Yvonne S on Dec 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question, we assist with our in-house Eurocave Technicians and will assist with service calls through a network of local technicians around the country.
Can the M model be surrounded by cabinet ?
Chary on Jul 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is a back vent unit. If you want to build this into cabinetry you will need to leave 3 inches below the cabinet by building on a platform that is open , 3 inches behind and 3-4 inches above.
How many bottles does this unit store?
G on Oct 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This cellar will hold 141 bottles based on bordeaux size bottles. The bottle capacity will decrease based on using larger bottles that take more space.
Will any of the EuroCave models heat? Or do they only cool? I would put a unit in my garage.
Paul on Apr 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hello Paul,
Actually, almost all of them have the ability to cool AND heat. Please call one of our Wine Cellar Specialists @ 1-800-356-8466 to further discuss which Eurocave is best for you.
Thank you

My Euro Cave
So far my cave has been exactly like we thought...A perfect gem to keep, age and store our wines. I am having a little trouble getting the humidity set right which may be on me. Otherwise, it looks great and runs very quietly.

The Eurocave Is attractive and maintains a consistent temperature. The only downside is that you need to leave an open space in the middle from top to bottom to maintain the desired humidity. Overall, I would recommend the unit.

Delighted with my Pure M
After one month, we just love our Eurocave Pure M wine cooler. For our current collection it is the right size and if I expand, we will simply purchase a second unit.

The white glove shipping was fantastic as the shippers unloaded, removed all packaging material (took it with them) and placed the unit exactly where we wanted it. The set up and loading of the Pure is straight forward and we are extemely pleased with our purchase. The temperature and humidity are running right where the settings dictate.

The Eurocave Pure M is well worth the price as the quality and function are fantastic. We are simply delighted.

I love the Pure M. Very stylish unit.
I’ve only had this unit two weeks, but it’s working well thus far. White Glove delivery services was great. I waited the recommended 48hrs before plugging in it and getting it started. Setting my desired temp was easy, humidity levels are great. This is my second Eurocave in six years. My previous unit was the 183V- it worked perfectly for five years until we had to move to another state. After the move it was never the same. I am hoping to get more than five years out of this unit. The ???????? M appears to be an upgraded 183V. It’s beautiful, great new stylish door handle. The ???????? M comes complete with maximum shelving. However, I wanted a Display shelf so I removed some of the drawer-type shelves from the ???????? M and used my old Display shelf from my 183V. My temp and humidity levels are perfect and the the unit is running well. No issues thus far.

Perfect for my needs.
Bought the Pure M since I needed to store over 100 bottles of all shapes and sizes and they all fit! A nice looking unit and very quiet. I have only had it for approx. 2 weeks so I can't give a detailed review, but overall it seems like a great purchase at this time. Folks at Wine Enthusiast are great to work with as well.

Feels good keeping my valuables in them.
Quiet, solid, I enjoy owning this unit. I have it side by side to my preciously purchased smaller eurocav revelation, which is the more expensive model with bells and whistles (soft close, better bottle holder etc.) And they are in my sunlit living room (bright but they are situated where there is never direct sun on them) where temperature fluctuates when the sun is out vs not, despite the central a/c. They both flucuate in temps by 3-4 degrees and humidity (50%-60%.). Such fluctuations seem minor but in any case, I would buy this cheaper unit rather than the more expensive one, given that there is no performance pick up.

Glass door cabinet
We have not had it very long but we do like the medium size and the glass
Door makes a huge difference, much more attractive than my old large black refrigerator like cabinet. The old cabinet went to a private club still going strong after 17 years! We hope to have our new cabinet as long and it looks so nice in our new space. The lighted temp and humidity read outs are helpful as well.

Pure M review
It was the perfect size. I was thnkiing of going with one of those
half size units, but even though the original space did not work, once the new unit was in place, all the wine that I had hidden all over the house, filled my new cooler minus one case. On that rack, I now keep a case of Pellegrino. The organization of wine
Is so logical now. Each shelf is a different grape, and as the seasons change, I am certain the quantities of certain varietals will also fluctuate. Have fun with it. Not too big, not too small...
just right!
