Crafting a tasty, well-balanced punch requires a solid go-to recipe—enter Mississippi Bourbon Punch. Fresh and fruity, this sweet cocktail will appeal to a wide array of palates. Best of all, swapping in ingredients that align to your personal tastes make adjusting the drink simpler than ever.

Based on a combination of fruit juices, grenadine and of course, bourbon, this slightly effervescent sipper is perfect for the holidays, birthday parties and beyond. Serves 12–14.

Ingredients

  • 2 (750-ml) bottles dry white wine, Chardonnay or Rhône/Languedoc blends recommended
  • 1 12-ounce bottle grenadine 
  • 1 ½ cups bourbon
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ⅓ cup lime juice 
  • 2 cups club soda (or 1 cup lemon-lime soda and 1 cup club soda for sweeter version)
  • Orange slices, for garnish

Directions

Pour all ingredients except for the club soda (or lemon-lime soda) into a large punch bowl and stir.

Making Mississippi Bourbon Punch

Mix ice cubes into the punch and refrigerate until chilled, or for up to 2 hours before serving.

Just before serving, remove the punch from the refrigerator and add club soda.

Serve in individual rocks glasses. Garnish with an orange slice.
