The craft beer industry has openly struggled with diversity and inclusion—for the last two years, Jen Blair has been at the forefront of the fight. With a combination of activism, awareness and education, she is a powerful voice that amplifies others. As co-host of False Bottomed Girls, a brewing podcast, the exam manager for the Cicerone Certification Program, and co-collaborator for Brave Noise, a collaboration project, her multifaceted platform Under the Jenfluence is fostering a welcoming space within beer.

“The most meaningful part of what I do is helping strengthen communities for people who have not seen themselves welcomed or represented in the beer industry,” she says. “Being ‘the only’ at the table is isolating, scary, and maddening. With the communities I’ve helped create and continue to support, the onlys become the many.”
