Lofty ideals

After he sampled premium vodka for years, Elliott became motivated to create his own. His award-winning Loft & Bear launched locally in 2013, and has since expanded distribution across L.A. as well as to Washington, D.C. and the Bahamas. “Instead of being in every market imaginable, we pay attention to what’s important in a community and become a part of that,” he says. The extension of that commitment can be seen in the percentage of profits the company contributes to PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), which helps homeless veterans and others find homes, furniture and jobs.
