Controller
To fuel the growth of the business, Wine Enthusiast is seeking a transformative leader to serve as a Controller. We are looking for an experienced controller who will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial management of the organization. The successful applicant will be responsible for maximizing accounting and other software, accounting operations, automation of accounting functions and financial reports, and accurate maintenance of accounting records.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with CFO and Director of Finance to establish, monitor, and enforce financial policies and procedures
- Lead effort to design, build, and implement accounting systems, tools, and processes at scale and develop efficiency and scalability across functional areas.
- Develop internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards (GAAP)
- Establishing and maintaining financial controls with the accounting and tax department.
- Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Providing support to management.
- Manage company general ledger.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, Master’s Degree Preferred
Professional Experience:
2-5 years Big 4 Experience Required, CPA required

Customer Service Representative
The key to being a successful Customer Service Representative at the Wine Enthusiast is knowing how to always put the customer first. We ensure our customers receive timely, accurate and knowledgeable information as well as assistance and accuracy processing their orders.
Responsibilities include:

Associate Product Manager, Wine Storage
Wine Enthusiast Companies, the premier source for all things wine, is seeking a Wine Storage Manager who will support the department’s Director with activities focused on product management and maintenance. The areas involved with this position will include: technical and sales support, product quality and enhancements, product development and marketing activities, daily vendor communications, new product creation and introduction, as well as general product management, database management and information coordination.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor competitive activity and product line positioning. Understand competitive product offerings, features, benefits and competitive advantage
- Determine the products' main selling points and support the Sales & Marketing teams with accurate product information and sales tools to optimize the products' presentation to distribution customers and end users.
- Maintain all the technical aspects of our products.
- Ensure accuracy and serve as the central resource for product specifications, testing, and quality.
- Supervise, monitor and manage 3rd Party test labs during product testing and ensure the testing reports from 3rd Party labs are issued in a timely manner.
- Collaborate on development of marketing materials (user manuals, spec sheets, etc.) as well as sales support tools (e.g., catalogs, sell sheets, price lists, etc.).
- Participate in assigned customer support such as preparation of line reviews, trainings, new product presentations, marketing requests, promotions and other related tasks
- Work with technical support, manufacturing and sales to develop collateral materials, web content and enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
- Assist with product development, including product changes and product promotions, specifying components, packaging content and design, product positioning, catalog and sell sheet copy, as required.
- Manage all artwork creation duties needed for the production in China, and review proof approvals to suppliers.
- Assist in guiding the marketing communications team in delivering on integrated communications goals between catalog and online assets.
- Collaborate with the Director on product planning and product line review process. Provide key insights on consumer and market trends. Work collaboratively to identify and evaluate new products, line extensions, and SKU rationalization opportunities.
- Participate in annual strategic planning process.
- Travel internationally to suppliers and factories.
- Ensure all products developed for marketing are filed and approved to comply with all applicable laws and regulations at the state and federal levels (i.e. CEC, DOE)

Warehouse Forklift Driver
This position is seasonal with a chance through effective work, to turn into a permanent position. The Forklift Driver utilizes a variety of mobile equipment to perform various tasks throughout the Distribution/Operations area. One must operate equipment safely, effectively, and efficiently. Training will be available to you, with the opportunity to utilize what you’ve learned.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating a Forklift in a safe manner
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
- Loading and Unloading shipments
- Performs ticketing, stocking, picking, packing, counting, housekeeping, and safety functions
- Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks
- Weekend and Overtime will be assigned, at times mandatory

Wine Storage Sales Representative
Wine Storage Sales Representatives are motivated team players working in an exciting wine culture environment with the opportunity for high earning potential. We are seeking candidates with a competitive spirit and positive attitude to join our energetic group of professionals who assist customers with wine storage solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Become an expert on all Wine Enthusiast products, specifically wine cellars/refrigerators, racking, cooling, furniture and glassware, and use that expertise to close sales on a daily basis.
- Ability to provide residential and commercial customers with an excellent overall sales experience while providing the correct information and specifications for the proper purchase solution.
- Being able to manage multiple sales consultations at once utilizing multiple touchpoints such as phone, online chat, texting and email communication with potential customers.
- Ability to handle multiple customers and projects in a high paced sales center environment.
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Ability to upsell wine through our Wine Express division, as well as wine accessory products, on every closed sales opportunity.
- Meeting and exceeding phone call and online chat KPIs on a monthly basis (720 calls and 300 online chats respectively).

Professional Experience:
Possess a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a professional selling and customer service environment.
Required Skills:
- Ability to Sell using exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate to all kinds of people.

- Must be available to work 2 Saturdays a month.
- An interest and education in wine, as well as WSET or other wine education credentials, is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient Computer Skills including Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, Internet and various Social Media platforms. NetSuite, Zendesk and SketchUp CAD experience is a plus.
