Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager will lead several key categories/subcategories and be responsible for growing company revenues by developing new products and discover improvement possibilities on current products. Translate trends into concepts that respond to business needs (e.g., innovation, merchandising strategy, price points, margin, core vs seasonal balance, and sales reports considerations) for the relevant product category.

From concept through production, and ensuring performance, cost, quality, and schedule adherence. The position will provide expertise in proven techniques for successful product development and design for manufacturing/assembly. The PDM will work closely with large cross-functional teams (Vendors, Marketing, Creative, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Packaging, etc.) to manage development throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • leading technical development of products
  • defining product specifications
  • identifying risks and opportunities to preempt development hurdles
  • providing escalation management
  • working with stakeholders to report on business quarterly

eCommerce Email Design Freelancer

Wine Enthusiast is looking for an eCommerce Email Designer to assist our growing commerce department. We are seeking a talented designer who can help us strategize and redesign existing triggered email campaigns, build new triggered campaigns, and assist with overflow work.

Ideally, we're looking for someone who’s interested in enhancing their freelance portfolio, or simply wanting part time to full time extra work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with Internet Marketing Director
  • Prepare creative files to be used for email development
  • Keep updated with industry trends and provide ideas for layouts and functionality
  • Designer will collaborate with in-house Creative Director, an in-house developer, and in-house copywriter

Required Skills:

  • A strong understanding of the latest design trends, tools, concepts, and technologies
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fluency in knowing how to make emails look good on both desktop and mobile devices
  • Proven experience creating designs that impact user engagement and email conversions
  • 3+ years of email marketing design experience

Executive Assistant

Wine Enthusiast Companies headquartered in Westchester County, NY is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team.

The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Co-founder in a one-on-one working relationship and at times is called upon to perform administrative duties for our executive management team. The person we are seeking is professional, highly organized, works with confidence, and can communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of external and internal contacts.

The main responsibilities of this position include managing corporate travel, setting up meetings, handling executive lunch orders, protocol communications, management of office supplies, internet research, and assisting with data entry projects.

The successful candidate will have experience with all the aspects of making both domestic and international travel arrangements. As well, possess strong computer and internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff. This may include outside clients and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters is also a requirement.

Work will be performed at our headquarters located in Valhalla, NY. Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff/Junior accountant to join our finance and accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial transactions, financial account analysis/reconciliation and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable, as needed.

Technical Business Analyst

We are hiring a Technical Business Analyst to join our project team. You will work alongside other business colleagues and work closely with the project manager. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. We have a very complex ERP and WMS system that you will need to learn to be able to be highly effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Assist with and ultimately lead triage efforts on system issues
  • Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and to follow The Wine Enthusiast SDLC
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Performing requirements analysis and creating requirements documents
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts

Vendor Relations Manager

We need a vendor relations manager who is process and resolution driven to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee 80 + drop ship vendors within Wine Enthusiast scope of business
  • Run daily reports and create quarterly vendor score cards, on time delivery and returns/cancellations
  • Troubleshoot and rectify PO issues, working closely with customer service and sales
  • Report trends in product issues/damages and suggest resolutions
  • Obtain and manage lead times and update consistently
  • Ensure on time Door to Door and White Glove deliveries
  • Set up new drop ship vendors within systems and on board
  • Process improvement projects
  • Vendor performance analysis

Chargeback Coordinator

Our Chargeback Coordinator research and investigate open claims and chargeback deductions, resolving disputes initiated by the issuing bank, and process all merchant chargebacks within the time frames established by card brands in order to prevent loss.

Using your chargeback experience, you'll evaluate the complaint, research the dispute and resolve it under the card bank regulations and rules, preparing and submitting the required documentation on chargeback cases .You'll review, analyze and process all re-presentments, pre-arbitration, arbitration, pre-compliance and compliance cases pending in the card brands portals, as well as review vendor guides and communicate possible non-compliance issues with internal team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a log on all pending issues with status of resolution for future reference
  • File disputes/claims by obtaining carrier or necessary documentation, submission and follow-up
  • Assist with additional chargeback projects or reports as assigned.
  • Dispute invalid deductions within the claim’s expiration time-frame, and follow through until resolved
  • Research and resolve high volume of customer deductions/chargebacks pertaining to shipping violation claims, allowances, discounts, damages, pricing, and shortages
  • Interact with internal departments during the process of validating deductions
  • Prepare and submit necessary adjustments for processing; Review and validate all chargeback activity for proper processing and reconciliation.

2-5 years professional work experience processing chargebacks
