Accounts Receivable

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our finance and accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Representative will be responsible for accurately processing and posting payments and credits to customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, collecting past due balances, generating and distributing invoices and statements, answering general questions regarding account status. This is a collaborative role with regular direct interaction with Sales and Customer Service team members, Finance and Accounting team members, and the Management team.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Download and post payments, upload of backup
  • Process daily deposits
  • Daily cash/credit card activity balancing

Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

Wine Enthusiast Companies is seeking a driven, efficient, and detail-oriented Junior Business Intelligence Analyst. This position will perform a wide variety of analysis across all our businesses.

This individual will be responsible for delivering regular reporting, running ad hoc analysis, and conveying the results. This role will also be able to assist in the architecture and implementation of data pipelines on the Google Cloud to create dashboards and visualizations. The candidate should have a strong drive to develop long term, efficient, and flexible data flows with opportunities to delve into machine learning and other cloud services. Director of Public Relations

As the Director of Public Relations for Wine Enthusiast Companies you will be expected to be a Wine Enthusiast ambassador - obsessively focused on creatively building our brand on behalf of both the media and commerce divisions. This person is a storyteller who can “Bring Wine to Life,” as the WE Companies Mission states via word-of-mouth marketing, partnerships, events and press coverage. This role reports directly into the media group’s Publisher and Co-President and is an integral part of the wider corporation.
This Director of PR will manage a team of two direct reports experienced in events, partnerships and print production. They’ll work alongside their counterparts to gather information from the entire organization and continue to familiarize themselves with the fascinating world of the wine industry. They will be creative in their approach, develop compelling pitches, stories and have a strong sense of ‘brand,’ continuously seeking opportunities to build hype and drive awareness across both media and commerce divisions

The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Co-founder in a one-on-one working relationship and at times is called upon to perform administrative duties for our executive management team. The person we are seeking is professional, highly organized, works with confidence, and can communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of external and internal contacts.

The main responsibilities of this position include managing corporate travel, setting up meetings, handling executive lunch orders, protocol communications, management of office supplies, internet research, and assisting with data entry projects.

The successful candidate will have experience with all the aspects of making both domestic and international travel arrangements. Associate Category Manager, Wine Storage

Wine Enthusiast Companies, the premier source for all things wine, is seeking a Wine Storage Manager who will support the department’s Director with activities focused on product management and maintenance. The areas involved with this position will include: technical and sales support, product quality and enhancements, product development and marketing activities, daily vendor communications, new product creation and introduction, as well as general product management, database management and information coordination.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor competitive activity and product line positioning. Understand competitive product offerings, features, benefits and competitive advantage
  • Determine the products' main selling points and support the Sales & Marketing teams with accurate product information and sales tools to optimize the products' presentation to distribution customers and end users.
  • Maintain all the technical aspects of our products.
  • Ensure accuracy and serve as the central resource for product specifications, testing, and quality.
  • Supervise, monitor and manage 3rd Party test labs during product testing and ensure the testing reports from 3rd Party labs are issued in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate on development of marketing materials (user manuals, spec sheets, etc.) as well as sales support tools (e.g., catalogs, sell sheets, price lists, etc.).
  • Participate in assigned customer support such as preparation of line reviews, trainings, new product presentations, marketing requests, promotions and other related tasks
  • Work with technical support, manufacturing and sales to develop collateral materials, web content and enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).

Wine Express Wine Concierge

Wine Enthusiast is seeking an eager and knowledgeable Sales Associate for its Wine Express division focusing on selling wine to current and new customers. Your extensive knowledge and love of wine, your enthusiasm for our selections and your strong written and communication skills will ensure your success reaching out to our extensive customer base of wine lovers on inbound and outbound phone calls as well as email and Live Chat. You’ll manage execution of in-store pick up orders and offer hand upsells.   • Actively document and maintain customer-specific information
  • Live Chat with customers
  • Building positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Wine Express products and correctly present and position them
  • Stay current with what competitors are offering and be prepared to show how well WEX products are positioned relative to the competition
  • Manage customer issue resolution, seek additional opportunities to support the customer’s needs
  • Document and maintain customer-specific information
  • Participate in sales meetings and training as required
  • Manage Warehouse Customer Pickups
  • Offer guidance and selling points to the marketing team for our emails and website

Qualifications:

  • Excellent overall wine knowledge
  • Results oriented
  • Strong computer skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Able to sit for a considerable amount of time while using a computer or mobile device
  • Physical demands include occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • Push/Pull up to 45lbs
  • A minimum of two years in sales or industry related experience is desirable

Location/Remote Work:

This role may be partially remote, though ability to come into the Valhalla, New York office 2-3 days per week is required
