Project Manager

Wine Enthusiast Companies, located in Valhalla, NY, is seeking a Project Manager who will drive all the detailed tasks on all project plans through completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full time effort to coordinate all activities
    • Track individual Test Execution progress
    • Bug fixing follow-ups with each owner
    • Coordinating Testing efforts amongst all partners
    • Hold action item owners accountable to their deliverables
    • Coordinate with the QA team on the Test Plans
    • Point person for daily activities
    • Gather and document business requirements
  • Own the creation and tracking of the Project Plan to completion
  • Maintain the JIRA workflow for the project
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • 3-6 years’ experience in the Project Management space
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Experience with commerce (order to cash, digital)
  • Experience with ERP
  • Preferable: experience with warehouse management system
  • Proven working experience in business analysis
  • Proven working experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

NetSuite Developer

Wine Enthusiast Companies is seeking a NetSuite Developer to work at its headquarters in Valhalla, NY. Along with working onsite, experience in eCommerce, WMS & EDI is required as is being an excellent communicator, proactive and a problem solver.

The job duties include:

  • Helping to implement NetSuite modules
  • Doing customizations and configurations to NetSuite Scripts
  • Develop custom code and scripts to support customer functionality
  • Working hands-on to troubleshoot issues
  • Being the technical point of contact for our ERP application (NetSuite)
  • Architect, design, build, and deliver optimized NetSuite solutions including customizations, scripting (2.0), integration & support case resolution
  • Staying ahead of the new NetSuite features and functionality, and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Participation in technical design/code reviews & audits to ensure design objectives are met and standards are followed
  • Working with management, Product Managers and Finance business customers to scope work and produce estimates
  • Adapting to changing priorities of the business and seek out ways to develop new skills
  • Balancing multiple projects and contending priorities
  • Creating saved searches that users need to better assist their purchasing
  • Becoming knowledgeable on our existing NetSuite customizations in order to modify them
  • Maintaining user roles/access and assign appropriate permissions/levels of access
  • Build/maintaining user interface entry forms, as well as email and PDF templates
  • Working with end users on usability/”Help Desk” issues

The skills & experience you’ll need:

  • 3+ Years in NetSuite Development
  • 5+ years of Industry Experience with emphasis with NetSuite Development experience with SuiteScript and Integrations
  • Good understanding and hands on experience on the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
  • NetSuite Certification such as SuiteCloud Developer Certification and SuiteCommerce Developer Certification preferred
  • 2+ years eCommerce Experience
  • Ability to write and review SuiteScripts (1.0 & 2.0) from scratch. Extensive understanding Map-Reduce. SuiteCommerce Advanced experience a plus
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON technologies
  • Experience with Full-Cycle NetSuite implementation
  • Experience in system integration and unit testing
  • EDI Experience
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Experience with ERP system modules including financials, purchasing, sales order, and processing
  • Experience with WMS/Inventory Modules
  • Strong sense of debugging skills to repair any issues that occur

Corporate Accountant Assistant/Receptionist

Wine Enthusiast Companies, located in Valhalla, NY, is seeking a personable, articulate and dependable Corporate Accounting Assistant/Receptionist who knows how to put customers and business partners first. This position is key in our organization as it is the first person to greet and lend assistance to our visitors.

We depend upon our Receptionist to be professional and courteous and use exceptional customer service skills.

Outline of Job Responsibilities

  • Greet & welcome all visitors with warmth, enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Answer & direct all incoming calls
  • Register our business visitors and direct them to the appropriate individual
  • Handle Accounting Administrative Duties such as filing paperwork for accounts receivables and accounts payable.
  • Sending AR invoices to customers daily, by email and mail
  • Receive and direct office deliveries
  • Assist with the mail, sort and file into department mailboxes
  • Ensure our Showroom products & publications are displayed well and inventory levels are appropriate
  • Maintain company phone directory
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of our product line
  • Create visual product displays in our showroom
  • Assist accounting with scanning, audit assistance and on demand projects.
  • Help with calling customers for declined credit cards and other accounting issues.
  • Additional Accounting assignments will be added as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests

The successful candidate will:

  • have 1-2 years of Receptionist and or accounting experience
  • utilize a clear, calm and pleasant speaking voice
  • possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • enjoy working with the public
  • have strong multi-tasking skills and outstanding organizational skills
  • be able to work in a high demand environment with minimal supervision
  • have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe products
