Available Positions:

National Sales Manager

As a nationally recognized brand and category leader, we have a unique opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial professional to join us as our National Sales Manager. Reporting to the Senior Vice-President, this person will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans designed to ensure consistent growth and market dominance in the Retail and Wholesale channels.

Responsibilities include:

  • The ability to establish and build long-term trusted relationships with key account buyers, planners and support personnel.
  • Identify business opportunities with the accounts and work with internal partners to create customized plans to drive results.
  • Develop and present key account business reviews to mutually grow business and profits.
  • Manage a staff of one account manager, admin and customer service
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to build and grow sales with appliance distributors and key appliance retailers targeting the Kitchen and Architectural Design marketplace.

Customer Service Representative

The key to being a successful Customer Service Representative at the Wine Enthusiast is knowing how to always put the customer first. We ensure our customers receive timely, accurate and knowledgeable information as well as assistance and accuracy processing their orders.

Responsibilities include:

Marketing Copywriter

Wine Enthusiast Catalog, the commerce arm of Wine Enthusiast Companies, is looking for an eager and inspiring marketing copywriter. This integral role is responsible for all marketing copy researched and written for Wine Enthusiast Catalog’s digital and print channels. He/she collaborates closely with the e-commerce, design, and merchandising teams to ensure a consistent voice and marketing messaging across the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and develop branded copy and headlines for our print catalog, and print ads in our media publication, Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
  • Print catalog — The Sourcebook, reaches an upscale demographic requiring a luxury lifestyle approach and mindset.
  • Manage and develop all copy across our ecommerce digital channels, including the website, emails (subject lines, headlines & body copy), and online ads, among other programs.
  • Also includes on-site promotional copy and headlines. Working closely with the ecommerce team to help strategize the design and write copy for all product detail page item descriptions, and landing pages.
  • Work with design and merchandising teams to draft copy for eye-catching product packaging.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Wholesale Sales team on marketing collateral and product copy for Wine Enthusiast products sold on Amazon, as well as other major wholesale big box and wholesale club partners.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure that it is accurate, consistent, grammatically correct and that the message speaks to the target audience in a cohesive brand voice throughout multiple channels.
  • Responsible for in-depth knowledge of company products, staying up to date on the wine and spirits lifestyle, and researching other brands to keep a competitive edge.

Technical Support Specialist for Wine Refrigerators

The primary job of the Technical Support Specialist is to provide general customer service and telephone troubleshooting for customers and field repair technicians needing assistance with operating or repairing wine storage refrigerators and wine cellar cooling units.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle incoming technical support calls in order to troubleshoot potential defect and/or usability
  • Contact service companies to initiate repair calls
  • Work with in-house service technician on return unit repairs
  • Work with Inventory planning to order replacement parts for cellar repairs

Reports To:

Head of Sales

Education:

High school, college preferred

Professional Experience:

2-3 years of Technical experience (we would prefer HVAC, but electrical/machinery/automotive or small engine interest is ok as well)

Email Developer

Wine Enthusiast Companies is seeking an efficient and proficient email developer to execute all email campaigns for the company, including commerce and media. This is a hands-on position that includes refreshing and updating current templates as well as slicing new campaigns from PSD files and loading campaigns into our email management system. You will partner with our design team on the look and feel of the email and then be responsible for carrying out the end result. An eye for detail is required to provide quality assurance for all campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coding approximately 15 responsive email campaigns per week including links, placement, image slicing and optimization (either from layered Photoshop, Word or updating existing creative)
  • Testing and proofreading in all viewports, browsers and email clients to ensure a flawless final product that positively reflects the brand
  • Communicating effectively with multiple business stakeholders, ensuring the end result meets their needs. May require last minute changes and flexibility. Must be able to work cross-functionally.
  • May require designing emails during off hours such as nights and weekends throughout the busy holiday season.

Professional Experience:

2+ years in a similar role, coding responsive email design in a fast paced, email driven environment

Transportation Supervisor

Supervise the filing and management of freight claims to assure claims are promptly filed, review open claims to assess current status, work with carriers for prompt payment and keep Operations Manager, and apprised of their claims status. Review and administer all billing for White Glove, Threshold and Small Package deliveries

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and monitor vendors responsible for White Glove, Threshold and Small Package deliveries.
  • Assist the Manager and COO in vendor negotiations with carriers to include rates, transit times, billing, and claims policy.
  • Supervise the filing and management of freight claims to assure claims are promptly filed, review open claims to assess current status, work with carriers for prompt payment and keep Operations Manager apprised of their claims status.
  • Review and administer all billing for White Glove, Threshold and Small Package deliveries.
  • Address Transit customer escalations based on priority.
  • Communicate to carriers of any specific delivery instructions.
  • Reviews shipping orders, prepares work schedules, and gives work assignments to subordinates.
  • Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance and provide training on job duties, company policies and procedure. Train new employees in job duties. Develop improved performance of employees through feedback and coaching. Draw conclusions from coaching and analyze to determine if further action is necessary to facilitate satisfactory production levels. Ensure effective performance management of assigned employees while creating a teamwork environment.
  • Supervises shipping clerks in the routing of trucks according to established schedules.
  • Reviews Transportation work processes, recommends measures to improve productivity and handling damage, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
  • Reviews bills of lading for accuracy.
  • Provide quotes to sales representatives as needed based on customer requests.
  • Provide shipping costs to Customer Service/Sales Rep/Buyers/Inventory/Planners and arrange P/U’s and deliveries on approval of orders.
  • Arrange sample P/U’s and deliveries for our merchants/inventory planners.
  • Assists Warehouse Supervisor w/ supervision of all warehouse employees.

Marketing Coordinator

This individual will execute multiple daily email campaigns while maintaining data and assets in a supporting role to the Manager of Business Intelligence. Must have a great, proactive attitude along with the ability to see the bigger picture and plan ahead. A keen attention to detail and pride in one’s work is essential to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing our email program including writing copy, editing, scheduling and reporting on daily promotional email campaigns.
  • Brainstorming ideas for sales and promotions to reach daily revenue goals.
  • Researching wine information and sourcing product images, including editing and uploading images.
  • Entering, uploading, and analyzing transactions and items, including data cleansing.
  • Updating orders fulfilled through third parties and communicating their status.
  • Maintain and update shared documents for team coordination
