What is the size of the neck? I want to buy a stopper but do not want the stopper to travel too far down the decanter. Also does the Venturi aerator fit in this?

For example, if I want to gift this to a couple named Jane and Sam, can I submit the characters as

Fantastic and inexpensive!
Best deal on a carafe on the site. This is my first carafe and paired with the Vinturi makes all red wines delicious.

Very satisfied!
This is exactly what I was looking for: a practical decanter that was not a museum piece. In fact, I came back and bought another one. If you want a nice decanter that works and looks nice on the table, but you don't need to brag about how much it's worth, than this is the decanter for you!

packaging revealed gift details
When we received the package, the details of the gift, including monogram, were written on the outside label, which was unfortunate since the gift was for my husband and he was the one who received the package. Please don't reveal the details in writing on the outside label!! It's hard enough to surprise my husband!

Bought as a gift
This was a Christmas gift and they loved it. It was much smaller than expected in comparison to other decanters.

Sturdy and cost-effective
Very sturdy and does what it's supposed to do. Goes into the dishwasher with no problem, but there is still some film left on so cleaning is a bit tricky.

I would recommend it!
It was smaller than I thought it would be, and the edge is not finished as smoothly as I was hoping it would be.

A Happy Valentine
I gave my Sweetheart this decanter for Valentine's Day for his personal home bar. The monogram turned out very nice and he loved it. He is a red wine drinker and it looks quite nice with the wine glasses and stemless martini glassees we previously purchased. I have to say I much prefer it to a wine bottle on our Dining Room table when entertaining.
