Setup was fairly easy (the hardest part was leveling it on our crooked floor!), and it took overnight to come down to the temps we set it out.

I suppose it's not technically "silent" but when it's actively cooling all you get is the gentlest whirring sound that you can't hear from more than a few feet away. It's far quieter than every other appliance or electronic thing we have in the house!

We were actually concerned about the temp, since the manual says that it's designed to reach the coolest temperatures when the ambient temperature is 60-65 degrees. In the summer our house stays around 75, and we haven't had any trouble keeping the zones at 50 and 58 degrees, respectively.

We had almost purchased with the next smaller version of this, but went with this one purely for aesthetic reasons (this one's size fit better with the scale of our other furniture in the room). And we're glad we did because we had to remove several shelves to fit larger pinot and champagne bottles, so it really doesn't fit the full 32...

I have had this unit for about 10 months now and couldn't be more pleased with the value. Quiet and dependable, the unit can take a full load of room temperature bottles and have them reach the target temperatures in relatively short order; think 6-7 hours rather than overnight. When you add 4 or 5 bottles at a time the unit doesn't even take notice, it just purrs along. I had read the reviews that focused on how noisey the unit was and was concerned because the plan was to set it up in the dining room. Turns out I can't tell when it's actually running because it is so quiet. I think the other reviewers who experience so loud a noise that it is annoying may have gotten a unit that was dropped or damamged in transit. Mine came through like a charm. If there is an issue that annoys me it is the engineering of the unit and the internal space. I'm pretty comfortable that an inch of extra height and width would have gone a long way to making this an exceptional unit. As it is, even with standard bottles, it is a very tight squeeze to get 32 bottles into the unit. It may be space issues or the engineering of the shelving but about half my shelves result in a really tight fit. Sufficiently tight that a little muscle and a lot of care are needed to fit in the bottles. I really don't like the scratched bottles that can result. I've also discovered that I would prefer two doors over one but maybe that's really picky.

Wine fridges in general are notoriously the problem children of anyone's appliance ranks. However, I've been pleased to this point with the 32 bottle dual zone fridge. It's better looking than in the picture, keeps my wines at the right temperature (I checked with a digital thermometer), and is silent as far as I can tell.

We originally purchased this on 11/26/11. It was a new refrigerator they were offering and we had to wait until December when they shipped out the first ones. Love the unit, it is the perfect size for us. It looks nice and is fairly quiet. You have 18 bottle shelving in red and white compartments both. It could have been a little wider to accommodate the larger bottles such as champagne. You can still fit them if you take out the bottom shelf and just lay them on the bottom of the unit in that section. Now it is March of 2012 and we are on our 3rd unit. They seem to have had a problem with the temperature board on the first shipment. My first 2 units had the same problem with the electronics. I waited to call back until February hoping they would have a new shipment in and they would have fixed the problem. Success with the wait. I had to wait for my 3rd unit to be shipped until they got new ones in stock. We have now had the 3rd unit for approx 2 weeks and so far no problem. The problem with the electronics board on the first 2 showed up immediately. I will add comments in the future should anything arise. I do love this unit, the size, the look, the way it works. It keeps the temperature perfect for both red and white in each zone.

This cooler isn't the best thing out there but it's not bad either for what it costs. Mine is in my basement with an ambient temperature of about 65. I have both compartments set to 56 but it keeps them a degree or two cooler than that (I have a digital thermometer/hygrometer inside) which reads 54-55. Right now they are both set to 56 but the top is 54 and the bottom is 55; the cooler is about 5 bottles shy of being full. Humidity remains around 70% inside so no worries about the corks drying out and I didn't notice any vibrations.

Apart from not easily being able to store Pinot's and similar shaped bottles without removing shelving and thus lessening storage capacity this refrigerator is a good choice for an apartment with limited space.

So far so good, we received the wine fridge about a month ago. I set the desired temps and waited 24 hours before filling with wine. I only had one Pinot Noir bottle that did not fit. We drink more red than white so in lower half I removed a shelf to allow for two champagne bottles. It's exactly what we were looking for. Placed in our eat in kitchen and looks great.

We wanted a small wine fridge for the corner of our kitchen and this fits the bill! Just make sure you allow space behind it for air circulation since it can't be placed under a counter. But it's good looking enough to be out in the open. So far, temperatures have remained constant and it's very quiet, as described. We agree with other reviewers that it won't fit larger bottles so you may get less storage. However, for standard sizes it is perfect.

This is our first wine fridge purchase and I am glad we got a dual zone. However, we are unable to get the top (red wine) zone above 61 degrees, no matter where we set the thermostat. The whites stay perfectly chilled below and I suspect it is because we have more whites than reds in the fridge. Other than that, we love it. It is sleek, quiet and looks great in our dining room. Haven't had an energy bill yet, so cannot comment on the energy use.
