The catalog shows this as smaller: 14.5"Wx20"Dx25.25"H. Which information is correct? And if the smaller dimensions are for another refrigerator, would you tell me which one?
vlfrance on Nov 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The 18 bottle size is: 25-3/4"H x 14-1/4"W x 20"D
24 bottle size is : 29-1/2"H x 17- 3/4"W x 19-1/4"D.
Is there an owners manual pdf?
swimB on Feb 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have not looked into a manual; however, I have no knowledge of receiving a hard copy either. When it was delivered things were chaotic with a lot of construction, so I may have overlooked it.
I picked this model up as a second owner today and absolutely love it! It looks like new stand up rack space now comes with this model. Wondering if these can be purchased separately, so I can stand up opened bottle(s)?
Laura W on Feb 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Laura, my fridge came with both sets of racks and it sounds like yours did not. I can tell you that so far I have been very impressed with the customer service from Wine Enthusiast. I would recommend contacting them about getting that bottom stand-up rack. Good luck!
what is the height of stand up bottle area?
robert on Sep 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: absolutely tall enough for 750ml bottles, with extra headroom
If the power input is only 130 Watts and the current is 1.9 Amps, why does it need a 15 Amp dedicated line?
Lois L on Dec 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've had mine operating on a common line with lights and all kind of computer gear for a couple of weeks now, and it works fine. My guess is that they're concerned that sharing a line would reduce power to the unit resulting in a lower rate of cooling and frequent 'recycling' of the cooling fans.
How long do I have to let it on before the top section gets cooler?
Claudia H on Oct 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The two zones have separate temp settings, so set the upper level to a lower temperature and keep your whites up there, then set the lower level to a temperature that is a bit higher for storing reds. (Temps will vary depending on your wines) One important issue is to put the refrigerator in a area where there is good air flow around the unit....don't place it is a confined area!
I see that the specs say this should not go under a counter. If it is under a counter but has space (5-6") at the back and 5+" of open space on either side would that be ok? I have no other place to put it. Thank you.
man on a mission on Mar 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This unit is not meant to be placed under the counter, but if you allow the 5" on the back , both sides and the top, you will create enough air circulation for proper operation. The ambient temperature surrounding this unit must be under 70 degrees.
Sparkling wines tend to be wider bottles. If I'm looking to store mostly sparkling, will it still be 24 bottle count refrigerator?
whittyjay on Mar 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question, the larger sparkling wines will reduce the bottle capacity on this wine cellar. The 24 bottles are rated for standard Bordeaux bottles.

Very Disappointing!
We initially loved this wine cooler, it was attractive and worked well. Then, exactly 12 months after we got it, it stopped working. First the internal fan got noisy, sounding like the bearings were going out, then the unit stopped completely. Calls to Wine Entusiast were of no help - their techs suggested junking it and buying another. After talking to others who have had the same experience, I can only conclude that it is a cheap product not intended to last more than a year or so. Highly disappointed . . . !!

Pass on this one
Nice looking unit but the top half stopped coooling 6 months after purchase and the bottom half stopped 18 months after purchase. So serves nothing more than a place to sit stuff on top of.

Looks Nice - Doesn't Last
Played the warranty game until the end. This thing just won't last. First one had a crack on the hinge (which was a foreshadowing of the quality). The cooling element goes in almost exactly the amount of time the warranty is good for. I would not buy this product again. Pay more and get something that will last longer than 3 years.

Very nice looking though.

In about one year the top section quit cooling. Bottom section still works.
I would not buy it again.

Score Top Cooler 0 Bottom Cooer 1
Looks nice but unit lacks quality. Top unit stopped cooling at all. Bottom works. I did not believe that WE would put their brand on an inferior product.
Beautiful addition for my home. Perfect for someone who likes to keep reds slightly chilled and also have whites a bit cooler. Love the separate compartments with each having its own temp control. It's also super quiet.

Fits my need but cycles constantly
I was looking for a small, dual zone cooler and this model certainly meets my needs. Very sleek and maintains a constant temp in both zones. The challenge is that it cycles on and off constantly (every 2 seconds - low fan, high fan back and forth and then off for 2 seconds - then starts cycling again). I have it in an open area as recommended. The Wine Enthusiast was quick to ship me a replacement but that one cycles on and off constantly as well. May be an issue with this model. The Wine Enthusiast is to have someone call to help resolve this issue and I'll post a follow-up once I hear back from them.

Refrigerator does the job!
Good temperature control and pleasing design. And, most important, quiet enough to sit right next to me in my office without being intrusive in any way.

Only one area could be improved and that is the spacing between wine racks. I thought they were a little tight to accommodate the somewhat different wine bottle sizes (I just removed one of the racks and respaced). Other than that, this refrigerator is a 4-star winner.

Not silent, by any definition
This cooler does not maintain temps, despite being near an air-conditioning vent, and the fan noise is irritating, even from across a large room. Not what we had hoped for.

Bought this a gift. Top section won't keep the 48 degree temperature that it is set at.Also, the thing is noisy. No manual delivered with unit. Please think twice before buying this unit.

Response from Wine Enthusiast
I am very sorry that a manual was not included. I will send the manual to you via email. Please keep in mind that the ambient temperature of your room may not allow the unit to get to a low of 48 degrees. Please contact us at 800-648-6058 for further troubleshooting. Thank you.
