Wine Enthusiast Silent 18 Bottle Dual Zone Touchscreen Wine Refrigerator Slimline Edition Q: Can i put this in my kitchen where the stove would be 10 feet away diagonally, it would not be 10 feet directly in front of a stove, 10 feet from stove to corner acrosss room. I wanted to put in my kitchen, but manual states to keep away from excess heat (stove, heater, radiator)....please advise. Asked on 12/18/2012 by drena from new york Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Thank You for your question, the 18 Bottle wine cellar can work in that apace you have, what you wantt to make sure is that the ambient temperature around the unit does not go above 77 degrees. The unit will maintain temperature properly if the ambient temperature around the cabinet remains under 77 degrees on a constant basis. Answered on 12/26/2012 by Dino from Wine Enthusiast

Asked on 10/25/2012 by Barb Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You will need to leave 3" in between the units as these are thermoelectric & they need 3" clearance on sides, back & top. Wine Enthusiast Silent 18 Bottle Dual Zone Touchscreen Wine Refrigerator Slimline Edition Q: A friend gave me this beautiful wine refrigerator for Christmas so I have had it for less than a month. Asked on 1/16/2012 by LauraLovesWine from Los Angeles Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: We are so glad you like the wine refrigerator and sorry to hear about the techinal issue you are having. It sounds like the control board may be having an issue. Wine Enthusiast Silent 18 Bottle Dual Zone Touchscreen Wine Refrigerator Slimline Edition Q: What is the best temperature to store white wine and red wine? I just bought the above wine refrigerator. Asked on 12/27/2011 by Chris from Pittsburgh PA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Whites don't really care all that much, but they are usually better cooler -- below 50. Reds are a little more particular and seem to do the best between 53 and 58. It is amazing to have a refrigerator that allows you to keep both. Answered on 12/29/2011 by Billytodd from Richmond, VA A: Thank you for your inquiry. All wine is stored between 50-60 degrees. Service temps would of course change. Generally, the setting usually is between 53-57. If you have any further questions, feel free to call 800 377 3330. Thank you again. Answered on 4/26/2012 by David Moseler from Wine Enthusiast
Wine Enthusiast Silent 18 Bottle Dual Zone Touchscreen Wine Refrigerator Slimline Edition Q: I would put this next to my refrigerator... Will this be an issue with temperatures and ventilation needs between the two? Asked on 11/4/2011 by buffalopam from Amery, WI Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Thanks for your question. Just make sure you have 3-4 inches of clearance all around the 18 bottle and you keep it in a space that is 77 degrees or less. If you have any other questions please feel free to call us at 1-800-377-3330. Thanks Answered on 11/7/2011 by Darren from Wine Enthusiast A: My guess would be yes, as the refrig would exhaust warm air nearby affecting the air the wine cooler takes in. Answered on 11/11/2011 by CF from Richmond, VA
Wine Enthusiast Silent 18 Bottle Dual Zone Touchscreen Wine Refrigerator Slimline Edition Q: Read thru the reviews. One states so noisy had to move to basement. Was this possibly a faulty unit or will it keep all but the deaf up at night? Willing to pay more for a unit with a quiet motor and no vibration. Is there a rating (db) or others that allows wine enthusiast to use the term "silent" Asked on 7/29/2011 by Terry - Master Handyman for Life from La Palma, California Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: It is loud when trying get temp down. I would not buy another. Answered on 8/11/2011 by Vizslas from Austin, TX A: This unit is extremely quiet, definitely will not keep you up at night! It utilizes thermoelectric cooling technology, which is one of the quietest forms of cooling. DB rating when unit is not cycling is low 30's. Answered on 8/2/2011 by John from Wine Enthusiast
