Overstated Capability
I read the reviews that said that this unit can't maintain more than 10 degrees difference between the two chambers and ignored them. I read the specs that said the maximum temperature reduction was 30 degrees and believed them. I should have reversed my thinking.

This unit cannot bring a compartment with 6 bottles of wine to 46 degrees. It also cannot manage a large spread between compartments. One time, I managed to see 11 degrees of difference between compartments - but 9 is more typical and 10 can happen.

I got this for myself as a Christmas present - intending one compartment for white and one for red. I am operating it that way and continuing to search for a relaxation of my expectations that the unit can achieve.

It's actually not a bad unit - just over stated in capability. It will not meet the claimed specs. However, if you are happy with a 50 degree compartment and a 60 degree compartment, with noticeably more noise than "silent" to get your wines "close" to optimal temperature - this is a moderately priced unit that will probably meet your needs.

It's been in operation for about 2 weeks - so I can't comment on longevity.

I would recommend this unit only if the friend understood the product capabilities. I would not recommend it based on the claimed performance.

Mostly satisfied
The dual temperatures are a wonderful feature, however one of the refrigeration units doesn't maintain it's temperature very well.

Great Product for Beginners
It arrived a day earlier, in excellent condition. I did not purchase customer service with it. However, it is 48 pounds and cumbersome for just me to move.

Seems to bee doing the job
has to sit 5 inches away from wall making it harder to find something to place it on. Otherwise seems to be good. Easier to get bottles in and out than other refrigerator I have taht I bought here

Just what I was looking for
I have this little fridge sitting on the hutch in my casual dining area. I love having the dual zones so I can keep a few bottles of white and a few of red at the right temperature. It is a little noisy; when I come down first thing in the morning, it is definitely what I hear. However, if the living room tv is on, or music is playing, I really don't notice the fridge noise at all. Also, when you add a warm (room temp) bottle, it takes the internal temperature up several degrees and takes about a day or so to get it back. My husband has decided to pre-chill a new bottle so it's closer to the wine fridge temperature going in. That seems to work well. I've had this product less than a month at this point, but so far I'm very pleased.

Instructions Don't Match Product
[...] Setup was easy, including the recommended cleaning. Very quiet, holds temperature well. The blue LED lights are a nice touch, but they don't really illuminate the bottles inside. There is an obvious lock button that does not do anything as far as I can tell. When I consulted the manual, it called out a light button...but the light switches are inside each compartment. If there is someone that could address this "feature" I'd be interested in the response.

Right zone failed after 1 year
This cooler is relatively quiet, but not silent. Avg room temperature was 74 and the unit struggled to keep bottles at or below 56 degrees.

After 1 year of use, I walked in from running errands last week to see the right side temp over 100 degrees Farenheit. Left side was still cooling but the temp had risen by more than 10 degrees from its setting.

I dusted the grill and reseated the fan power supply on the circuit board and it held to 60 degrees for 1 week, then failed again. It now sits unplugged in the corner.

Until that temp failure, overall I was pleased even though it didn't achieve the white/red side temps like I had initially hoped.

For limited space storage and cooling in an apartment, this was perfect while it worked.

I am disappointed in the temp failure. Hesitant to see what harm was done to those 6 bottles that were exposed to the high temps.

looks good but noisy
It is not useful in a dining room or kitchen because of excessive fan noise. The addition of quiet fans would have made this product an incomprable wine cooler without peer.

i would not but htis product
I received this item as a gift and now one of the zones does not work and the company will not even replace the item. Called customer service and they were no help.
