I make wine and purchase fine wines. Having just one glass a night (sometimes) leaves a lot in a bottle to spoil. The Private Preserve is an excellent way to keep air out so you can enjoy the wine night after night.
David K on Mar 17, 2015
I regularly use private preserve to save opened wine. I am satisfied with the results.

Edmond B on Feb 23, 2015

In racking wine I sometime have a large air space on the last container. I want to use this gas to displace that air. If you know of a less expensive way to do this please let me know. Thanks,William Porcher

Feels like an empty can but I saved over 100 bottles of wine the first time I used it -- just follow the instructions and seal bottle well after you spray it.

Is there a difference in the way the WE Private Preserve spray works and the Preservino Argon gas? Does either impart a taste?
StephenT on Dec 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hello Stephen,
Both preservation systems are similar. Neither will impact taste.
Thank you
How strong does the argon gas come out? I'm interested in using this for a different application (preserving small bottles of essential oil) that a strong burst would not work for.
jen s on Feb 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hard to answer, since the answer is subjective. Comes out fairly hard thru the provided straw that inserts into the nozzle, i think. however, you could try placing the nozzle itself just above the bottle mouth (without using the straw) and the gas would be less concentrated and therefore at a lower velocity.
What comes with this set of 2? How is it different from the one priced at $29.95?
JZP on Dec 3, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The one priced at 29.95 comes with stoppers. This package comes with the two cans only.
My question is; about how many empty bottles can I dose per each can? I am an amateur vintner and will be needing to bottle about 40 bottles.

Bottles are new and are still sealed
Cabal on Dec 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This product allows you to get approximately 120 uses depending on how much you have to spray.
How long will the preservation spray keep my (opened) bottle of red wine fresh? Thank you!
katie on Sep 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hello Katie,
I would say approximately 5-7 days.
Thank you
Can this be used on a jeroboam? If so can the original cork be used? How much (how many sprays or how long) would I add to the bottle? It's about half full now.
Grafin Lupus on Dec 4, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the Private Preserve can be used on a Jeroboam and the original cork can be used. Regarding how much of the spray, I would press down for several seconds for a layer or blanke to gas. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at 800 356 8466. Best

I have used this product for years. It is great. Not only for preserving partially consumed bottles of wine. I also use it during the wine making process to insure the displacement of possible oxygen at times when the wine is vulnerabl to oxygen. Joe latoff

What about science?
Your video flies in the face of proven science. In a small, sealed container, molecules of all gases present expand to fill the whole container. On the surface of the Earth, in small sealed containers, gases do not create layers! So, while you may be able to slightly diminish the amount of air and oxygen present in the bottle, no "protective layer" of argon will form. As this is basic high school science, shame on you for saying a layer will form. And more shame on those "wine connoisseurs" who demonstrate such ignorance in the 21st century.
