How can the capacity is 110 bottles? I counted the numbers of bottles and numbers of shelves and it can't be more than 72 bottles.

BEST ANSWER: 9 regular shelves with capacity of 11 bottles each (6 in front 5 in back) = 99 bottles. One large shelf on bottom with base capacity of 6 bottles gets you to 105, but you can stack more bottles on top of those six to get to higher numbers (5 in second stacked row gives you 110, you could add more on third row to get to at least 111). Note the capacity is based on standard Bordeaux bottles. The capacity will be lower if you store bottles that are different shape.

Good inexpensive unit with a couple caveats
This unit does the job, but not especially elegantly. Itâ??s inexpensive, so I wasnâ??t expecting Eurocave performance. Hereâ??s what to expect: A. Temperature fluctuations are about plus or minus 2 degrees (farenheit) from the set temp, for a total fluctuation of approx. 4 degrees. B. The manual says nothing about how to operate the touch control panel, so plan to call Wine Enthusiast to have them walk you through it (my customer service experience on the phone was not so great either) C. â??White gloveâ?? service was a joke, the delivery guys were reluctant (at best) to take the unit up the stairs until a tip was offered D. The unit is a bit loud, i can definitely hear the compressor every time it turns on, unlike my other units E. How the shelves are formulated makes it difficult to load 6 bottles across without rubbing against the shelf above; I maxed out at 98 bottles (but this will depend on what youâ??re storing). It looks good though, and the size was perfect for me. 3 Stars.

Happy with this one
My previous refrigerator held 80 bottles and was a dual zone. It lasted a few years, but the temp was inconsistent. This is a single zone, which I am much happier with. The temp is consistent, and the unit is very quiet. It is also much more compact given that it holds even more bottles than my last one.

Good value for the money
I have only had this wine cooler for about 1 month so I cannot speak to durability or longevity. So far though it has worked well. It is a pretty big unit and can put off some heat when the compressor is running. I cannot speak to how quiet the unit runs because I have it down in the basement and only visit it when I want some wine. However, when I am getting a bottle, I do not hear any noise. I have the unit set at 55 degrees and it holds that temperature very well. The sliding shelves work nicely. The push-button controls are the one aspect that I find wanting and have left me often confused. I did just discover that the unit always defaults to the locked position so that every time that you want to turn on the interior lights or adjust temperature, you have to push the lock/unlock button first. The buttons do not give you a tactile or audible signal that you have successfully engaged the button so often times I find myself pushing buttons and getting no response...only to discover that I have to once again push the unlock button to engage the functional buttons. I would recommend this unit as a basic wine cooler that is a good price/value choice.

I like this wine refrigerator, but the control panel is not well designed. Instead of the whole control panel being back lit, only the temperature reading is. Unless you have a light right over the door when you open it, it is hard to see the control buttons. You need to be able to see them because they lock after a period of time. So you need to be able to see the buttons to unlock them and use them for something like turning on the lights inside the refrigerator! Also, the manual that came with this refrigerator, while simple, had NO explanation of how to use the individual buttons on the control panel I think there are only 5. I had to call support to get someone to explain to me how to use them. It's straightforward- once it's been explained to you! Again there was no information in the manual on how to do this. I think that for the cost of this unit they could have done a better job of lighting the control panel so its easy to see and use.
