Are the shelves removable and if a shelf is removed, is the remaiining shelf capable of holding another row of bottles stacked on top.

Also, does the base have adjustable feet.
John on Oct 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The shelves are removeable. You could but I would not recommend putting another row as these are pull out shelves and stacked bottles can roll. The unit does have leveling legs
where can I get the manuals?
Karina K on Oct 23, 2016
Does it hold wide like Turley or Champagne bottles?
Joe M on Jan 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: In my experience there are two shelves (out of 15 shelves in the unit) where I can store larger, wider bottles. The unit does accommodate standard-sized bottles rather well--I can fit about 9-11 standard bottles on each shelf. If you have a lot of larger, wider bottles, however, you might want to consider a different unit.
Do the shelves roll out to better find the bottle you're looking for?
Lauren S on Sep 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: the shelves roll out only halfway. You can see the bottles in the back row but not the label. I've gone to matching the bottles in the back with those in front of them
I have the temperatures set to 46 and 61 degrees. Once in a while I see it jump to 51 and 61 degrees before the compressor turns on. Is this normal?
Guest on Oct 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hey! Mine will jump about 2 degrees either side of the setting but not 5 degrees. Is there a setting on the panel to determine how many degrees it moves before the compressor kicks on? I know my thermostat at home is like that. It provides a way to keep a wider range of temps in the house. Not sure if the unit does the same thing but worth a check. Bud W.
Are the controls on the front of the door or inside?
mary c on Aug 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The temperature controls are inside and easily visible thru the glass door. The temperature setting for both zones are side by side and lit up in blue.
can the door opening be reversed?
gofast83 on Oct 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: yes
can this be used in a garage where it may get hot in the summer?
A shopper on Jul 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes! Ours is in the garage. Outside temp reaches 100+. Fridge stays at 55.
Is this product noisy?
Deborah P on Mar 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello Deborah,
This cellar is intended to be in interior rooms so it is not loud.
However, if you are looking for the quietest wine cellar on the market that would be a Eurocave.
Feel free to reach one of our Wine Cellar Specialists @ 1-800-356-8466 to further discuss.
Thank you.
We are having trouble fitting the back row of bottles on the shelves. Is there a method to doing this?
Linda P on Oct 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I think it works a little better if you reverse the direction of the bottles in the back--tops of bottles facing each other in the middle. That seems to create a little more space. Also, some bottles fit a little more easily than others. It didn't hold quite as many bottles as it was supposed to, but it wasn't too far off. Mescal
how do you change the light bulb?
lisa r on Dec 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: you cant it will always be a light bulb
Can you fit larger Pinot bottles in, and just loose capacity?
Marji S on Nov 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello Richard,
Yes, for some Pinot bottles. For larger bottles you may need to remove a shelf entirely to accommodate.
Thank you.

Overall ok, but some issues
The product itself is fine, however to fill up with 166 bottles you would need 11 of the same size standard bottles per shelf, which is just not realistic.

White glove delivery only consisted of unloading and bringing the cellar into the house. Delivery did not check the unit to ensure it worked or inspect for any issues. Small debris was also left in the driveway and the street.

Upon setup, I realized that one of the shelves was not staying on the track and reached out to Wine Enthusiast but did not receive a response for over 3 business days (still waiting).

166 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cooler
We started with the Wine Enthusiast Wine Cooler because we already owned a small one, also dual zone, that we've had for three years that we were very happy with. It was time for an upgrade and we had room for a bigger unit. This one was a good size and value. Delivery was quick and smooth, the cooler is attractive and clean looking. If all of the bottles were the same size it might hold 166, but ours were not, although it still has great capacity. We are very pleased with our purchase, it is pretty quiet, we really like the pull-out shelves, and that it looks nice free standing (which is how we're using it) or has the capability to be built in.

Okay, but not quite what I expected
In the description, it is advertised as holding Bordeaux size bottles. I should have taken as a true statement, because I cann only get about 145 bottles in it, Also, the three bottom shelves only come out about 30% , making the back useless to hold any bottles.
On the positive side, it cools quickly, holds the temperature setting, and runs quietly.

Great Cellar / Better Delivery!
The 166 is a perfect cellar for tight spaces. As mentioned in many reviews, the service / delivery was something that concerned me. The "White Glove" delivery was performed by Show Me Delivery and they were absolutely spectacular! The only thing left is to enjoy the wine from the cooler.

Fits my need
Arrived earlier than expected and that was a good thing. Filling a new cooler is always so enjoyable. Has held the desired temperatures very well. The motor is a bit louder than I would like but it is not invasive. Glad I bought it!

Excellent value wine refrigerator
I am very happy with my new wine refrigerator. The only issue I have is that the shelves are a little tight. They do very well with standard size cabernet bottles, but larger pinot and chardonnay bottles are tight. You can double up on the cab bottles on each shelf, but not the others. Functionally it performs very well.
