Not your mother's stain remover
My mother told me to pour table salt on the stain and let is sit until it absorbed the wine. Another method was to pour boiling water over the stain until it disapppeared. Thanks mom.

Wine B'Gone is not my mother's stain remover; it really removes wine stains completely.

This really works
I was a little skeptical after spilling a glass of red wine on my boyfriend's beige carpet. After i sprayed the carpet stains several times, it left darker marks in each of the spots. I was worried that instead of wine stains, there would just be these darker 'blobs,' which were not attractive. Anyhow, I got the sweeper out and swept over the spots to hopefully help. It turns out that the next day, you can barely tell anything had been spilled. I think after I have the carpet professionally cleaned, there won't be any remnants of my spill.

Just too big for TSA carry-on regulation
The earlier version of this product has saved me on at least two occasions when I've spilled red wine in an aircraft onto pale coloured clothing. It really works. However, with the current TSA regulations, each liquid container is only allowed to be 100 ml (3.4 fl oz), so this isn't really a travel sized container (hence 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5).
