We use this decanter to add a "splash" to our evenings. A nice designed decanter, although ergonomically it's somewhat awkward in the pour (especially towards the end of the bottle). Unfortunately it does drip, so tie a bit of paper towel around the narrow neck to capture dripping. It seems fragile, but maybe not. Cleaning is challenging unless you have an inexpensive, non-too-stiff brush baby bottle cleaner. I use the WE drying stand, which is perfect for this item. My next decanter will be a higher end item, because I don't want the drip and wish a heavier, sturdier glass. But it's a good first purchase.

I bought this decanter with the "Large Folding Decanter and Wine Glass Dryer." I was hoping that by hanging the decanter upside down on the rack that it would dry easily, but even after 2 days on the rack, the condensation inside the decanter does not dry up. A good decanter, but difficult to dry.

This is my first decanter, and I am very happy with it. Fuller bodied wines absolutely taste better, it looks nice, and is easy to pour (despite it's awkward design).

I like this decanter because a bottle of wine fills it to its widest point, thus maximizing the surface area. On big reds, I fill it through an aerator (which is very easy to do given the large mouth) and the wines open up very well. The only reason this doesn't get a fifth star is that it becomes somewhat difficult to pour the last of the wine out. The shape requires a near total inversion which can be cumbersome. Other than that, it works great and looks great.

Notice in all the wine demonstrations you'll see the wine expert pour into a decanter to allow wine to breathe, and yes to serve this way is so pretty on the table! Watch when your pour, it's a little tricky at the end, but is just a classy piece to add to your service.
