This review is two parts because I don't think they are equal:

Red - I love it. I have yet to try a red that doesn't taste better aerated with this. I have had several get togethers and everyone has been able to taste the difference. You can actually smell the difference before even tasting the wine. Great purchase and a must for even the casual wine drinker.

White - Not as impressed. It may be the types of wines but I have tried it on various types and it's very hit or miss. There is some that you can taste the difference others you wouldn't even know. In blind taste tests I would say about half the times people cannot tell the difference or select the wine not aerated.

The internal openings on the white wine unit appears to be identical to the red wine unit, but the could be different. If the same, you don't need both.

I already have the red vinturi nad I know it makes a difference, and so does the white Vinturi. Tested and proven by myself and several friends.

I chose this item as a gift to someone who collects and enjoys trying new wines both red and white, but white is the favorite. Going to vineyards you see them use these items but never thought it would be a good item for home, but it was. My mom loved it and her guests who enjoy wine also saw a difference, it is a very unique gift, design is pretty enough to display and it is a good piece for conversation. The wines tasted so much better and it is really a great product. Most wine enthusiasts dont have this and it is nice accessory to have and give as a gift. Cleaning was made so much easier with the brush.

Excellant product,I have the one for red,not sure if theres really any thing different between the one for red & white ,But I love the product ! I would like to be able to buy the stand separate though since I already have 2 areator,s.

I never knew what I was missing by not aerating our whites. You will love the clarity this gives to your white wines. I bought it for my husband's birthday and we LOVE it.

the white wine aerator cam with a drawstring pouch to transport the aerator, but the red wine aerator did not. Was it supposed to?

Definitely a noticeable difference when doing a side-by-side comparison of aerated wine and wine straight from the bottle. The Vinturi improves the taste and would be a great gift for anyone who likes wine.
