The vintage look will blend well with the custom bar we designed for the client's pub. As an interior designer I'm building a "look" and this fit well!

I hope it looks like the pic.

Google image search for "Hanging Wine Rack". The reviews about the chains are TERRIBLE, so I'm taking a risk, but I also plan on replacing the chains myself.

What size Wine glass base will this accommodate?
Rose T on Sep 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Rose ...... The stem glsss holes are 3 3/8 inches in diameter. My glasses have 3 inch standard base. Some of my "Riedel " glasses are slightly larger. Never had a problem with this item.
Can anyone share what kind of mounting hardware they used, for those of us that aren't contractors?
Mike F on Dec 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In the ceiling, we used 4 swag hooks. On the wine rack, we used 4 D-Ring hangers. Be sure to pre-drill the holes so that the mounting screws don't split the wood. Then we used 1-½" chandelier chain to hang it. We were pleased with the result.
Hi, can someone please tell me the overall dimensions of this rack? Thanks
JOE H on Dec 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Ask wine enthusiast ...I'm not sure.

Love it!
I hung it above my Trilogy Wine Cellar Credenza - it is a perfect match and completes the space!
Holds 3 red wine or 4 white wine/champagne glasses securely in a row. 6 rows altogether.
If you tilt the glass while you insert it through the hole any size of stem base should fit just fine.
The chains look cheap from up close but frankly after you hang it and put your glasses in it it will look so awesome that you won't mind any more.
Hanging it at 2 point works just fine, because you will not push the heavy wood around with your fine stemware anyways.

The best wine rack ever!
It was worth the wait! I love the way it looks and also the space-saving aspect of it. I also love that it is made of re-used wine barrels which makes it completely unique and there will never be two that are alike. The color looks great in my place - a cherry stain. The only thing I would suggest is that they offer a range of stains so that more people could use it in their homes. For instance a dark brown/black stain and a light/pale stain would give you more potential buyers but with that said, the cherry stain is perfect for us so we just got lucky!

nice idea but...
Was looking for an overhead rack to suspend from an exposed beam in a loft type space. Thought the barrel stave idea was great. Aesthetically it hit the mark perfectly with my expectations. That said the functional design is a bit suspect. Holes to insert the stems are a bit small for easy in/out use with our Riedel Vinum glasses. More importantly there are two chains that allow you to suspend the rack from your ceiling etc. the way these chains act as mounts allows the rack to easily tilt as glasses are added or removed from the rack. Net the rack is never level unless it's empty. This leads to glasses sliding into each other and the rack looking like it's always tilted when full. We've hacked a separate cable between the rack and the hanging point on the beam to act as a brake and prevent the rack from slanting as glasses are added but it's rather unsightly and not what we imagined when we purchased this rack.

Where is it?
It's been almost 2 months and I haven't seen the item. I wouldn't have known the first one I was shipped was damaged if I hadn't checked the shipping progress and found out my item had been delivered and signed for by someone in Georgia. Great but I'm in Pennsylvania and my credit card paid for the item. I called to inform them my product was delivered to someone else and only then did they investigate and tell me the product was damaged and sent back to the manufacturer. When I inquired when I would receive the replacement I was told that they had to make it first and there was no way to tell how long it would take. So it's nearly 2 months later and not only hasn't my product been shipped, it hasn't even been made. Merry Christmas.
