Would this table be appropriate for being on an outdoor patio for 3-4 summer months in the midwest?
Tricia J on Apr 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Indoor use only.
Can this be used on a screened in porch?
Deb T on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I suppose it could be used on a screened in porch...I personally would have some reservations...it is wood and I'm not sure how it would "react" over prolonged periods of exposure to moisture. The table top is finished and treated to be used and wiped down...but the barrel itself doesn't seem to be treated..and I would be hesitant to expose it to moisture. The same for the stools....especially the ones we ith padded seats.
It is VERY heavy...so once you put it on the porch...it would take a lot of man power to move it, if you change your mind.
I LOVE the table !!! We get lots of compliments...quite a conversation piece. Enjoy !!
Hope this helps.
Looking for barrel table with round top for playing games. Is there anything available with a flat surface?

What is the stool recommendation height for this table?. In the Q& A someone asks what size stools they would get with this table and the answer is 36". Yet another person asked how 36" stools work with a 37" table and the answer is "the stools are only 28" in height. In another question the replied answer is " any 24" stool could be used". I'm really confused as you might imagine. Could you both answer my question and also respond if this is the recommended height for dining at this height of table? I don't want to spend this amount on a table that is an awkward feeling fit. What is the height that SHOULD be used for the best comfort while dining. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: 24" high stools are recommended for the Vintage Oak Bistro Table
What is the weight of the Vintage Oak Full Wine Barrel Bistro Table??
Bonster on Jan 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Approximately 230 lbs.
In the product write up it lists the table size as 37"H x 56"W x 56"D. In one of the question and answers you list the table size as Size: Table - 42"H x 29"W ; Stools - 28"H x 18"W x 18"D.

The glaring difference is the width of the table. In one case it shows 56" and in the other 29". I'm assuming that since you indicated in another question that it can "seat 5 comfortably", the 56" width is correct. Please confirm.
Chip on Feb 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hello Chip,
56" table top width is correct.
Thank you
