Hi they sent me a replacement cellar cooling unit to replace one thats not cooling, but no instructions on replacement. Anyone know where I can find this?
Jay W on Aug 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: First thing is unplug the unit from the wall outlet. The unplug the two cords on the unit to be replaced.

There are wood slats between the units. One slat between the top and middle, one slat between the middle and bottom. You will need to remove the wood slat or face board with a Philips screw driver.
Once you have removed the wood slat face board you just slide the whole plastic unit out.
What is the operating ambient temperature range when using both zones?
weedy on Nov 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The maximum ambient high temperature would be 77 -78 degrees F.
I am planning to add a wine cabinet in a basement pub. Can I install the Trilogy Wine Cellar so that only a few inches stick out from the wall - and the rest would be in a storage room (10 x 12) that has a frame wall next to the pub area? I was planning to cut a hole in the drywall - frame the opening and slide the wine cabinet into it.
M on Apr 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Based on your requirements it would be best to call and speak with a storage consultant to discuss placement , details , and ventilation . 800-377-3330
Our Trilogy is not cooling, what can the issue be? It's approximately four years old.
Babbs on May 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Each compartment is it's own thermometric cooling unit component, so just one section may need to be serviced or replaced. You can contact our Tech Service Dept at 800-648-6058 ext 2 to troubleshoot that issue. Thanks!
How many magnums will fit in one of the units?
This is a Trilogy, do you have a similar produt that's only two units?
thanks,
Kristy on Nov 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: To fit magnums, one would have to remove every other shelf. In terms of a furniture piece that is only two cabinets high, I may consider looking at some of our Siena units.
Two of the units lights flash when you open the door and it's not cooling? Also where can you find a replacement power board if I need one. Thanks
Joe on Oct 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: To better assist, please call our Technical Department at 800 648 6058 option 2. The replacement boards can be purchased through the techs as well. Thank you.
Does this come assembled?
I called the order phone number, and asked if we had to assemble. The woman on the phone could not answer my question. So, simple question, shipping is $300 (no discounts), do we have to fiddle around with screwdrivers, hammers and other stuff, or is it somewhat intact?
Annie Platinum on Aug 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This unit comes assembled.

I can see that the Trilogy Wine Cellar comes in 2 colors (the Mahogany and the Espresso), but is it possible to get it in a more brown wood color? OR can it comes unfinished so I can have it finished myself?
Marti on Jun 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: These are the only 2 finishes the unit comes in and does not come unfinished
I was just given this wine cellar by a friend who wasn't using it anymore. I had to lay it on its back for transport. Is there any length of time that you would recommend leaving it upright before turning the compressors back on? It was on its back for only a total of 30 minutes.
Jeff on Oct 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thus unit does not have to rest.
We would like to place this in a space next to kitchen cabinets. The space is only 21 inches wide. Do you recommend against purchasing the trilogy254 60. we like the size. there is room in back and there is counter space next to where we would place the unit before upper cabinets resume. If this is not appropriate, can you suggest another option?
Tom on Sep 25, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Hi, thank you for your question, the Trilogy wine cellar is 22" wide, you would need to leave at least 1-2" behind and all around the cabinet for air-flow circulation. Most of our built-in wine cabinet are wider than the 21" space you mentions. Please follow this link for all our built in wine cabinets.:

We just received our Trilogy Wine Cellar. Your service has been great. We've had it plugged in for about 36 hours with wine in the cabinent (about 30 botttles). Although it is quite when running, it seems to be running most of the time. Is it normal for the refrigerator to runn consistently?

Thanks.
S on Aug 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does run all the time.
Can you leave the led lights on or will it damage the wine?
null on May 12, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can have the LED lights on.
Can this unit be placed into a confined space? How much room does it need for venting?
M.Wine on Apr 8, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The trilogy units need 3-4 inches all around for proper venting. Any other questions please call us at 800-377-3330.
Is this similar to a traditional fridge where it needs to stand upright for some time prior to use?
null on Jan 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Hello,
This unit cools using thermo electric technology. You do not have to wait to plug this in.
Thank you

The Product better than Wine Enthusiast
The primary problem is one of the units did not cool, and Wine Enthusiast has taken 4 1/2 months to replace it. They do not have customer service.
Unhappy in New York
The advertised temperature range for the wine cellar is 52 - 65 degrees. I have the cooling set to 52 degrees, but the unit rarely cools below 58 degrees, and much of the time it registers at 60 degrees. For white wines, especially Rieslings, I expected to be able to actually get 52 degree temperatures. A real disappointment.
NEVER NEVER get their wine coolers!!!
This product is horrible. I ordered one and love the design and ordered another one a year later. Unfortunately, the previous broke while the second was in transit to my house. Talk about timing!!! And a month later, the second one did not even last a year and it is now broken. I called Service and had to wait on the phone for more than 30 minutes before someone came on the line. I think I need to call my lawyer. To date, I have not received any support or help from Wine Enthusiast.
I Have a Problem
Design and style are great. The only problem I have is with the light switch. It comes on and off by itself. My guess is either the switch is defective or somewhere there is a short in the lighting system.

My guess is it might be simpler to replace the unit rather than trying to replace the control panel.

Beautiful cabinet
The first unit arrived damaged. The second unit arrived in great shape; however, the lock on the top unit was broken in the locked position. I could not get the door open, so I removed the fridge and opened it from the inside out. I would like to replace the lock mechanism.
Beautiful and functional!
White glove delivery, which was standard, was perfect. They uncrated the units ouside, were very careful bringing the units in the house, and set them up where I desired. Very cordial and efficient.

Beautiful Wine Cooler
This is a beautiful wine cooler in a convenient and space saving configuration. I put it in the corner of a butler's pantry off the dining room where it is easily accessible. The wood is beautiful and it looks like a wine cellar and not a refrigerator. I would recommend it.
