Does this flute have tiny etching points inside where the bubbles have a place to attach, which controls the rate that the bubbles are released?
Bailey R on Sep 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: When I used the glass, the bubbles seemed to not want to attach to anything, they just floated up to the top. Perhaps they were free-spirited bubbles -- Bohemian bubbles -- which did not want anything to control them. I'm only speculating of course. It's just as likely they were Libertarians.

Great Flutes
Great customer service however packaging was lacking. The first set was destroyed in transit. The second set was placed inside another box and a couple pieces of brown paper around it. Thankfully they were in great condition.

The glass was as expected. The customers service was superb!
This is a champagne flute. It looks kinda like a big test tube on a glass base. The glass is clear. It goes "ting" if you tap it. There's not much more to it than that.
But when I picked up my set of four that had just been delivered from Wine Enthusiast, I could hear lots of clinking inside even the big shipping carton. Lots of clinking inside of an unopened box full of glasses is not a good sign. I opened up the shipping carton, dove thru the padding material and pulled out the box of glasses. The clinking sound was very loud leading me to conclude something dun got broke! And I was right!
I ordered a box of four glasses. I got two whole glasses, one broken glass, and one empty space. I dreaded calling customer service since I expected somer customer service drone would say something like "Well you'll have to ship it all back to us at your expense so that we can evaluate the returned product and make a decision as to whether your claim..."
But guess what? The Wine Enthusiast rep actually sympathized with me! Yes! The gist of her response was "Sorry. That really sux. We'll send you out another box immediately. And you can go ahead and keep the two glasses you have." That was it.
And a few days later, I got the box with four whole, complete glasses! Good job guys! Cheers!
