what is the diameter of this glass? I need to make sure it will fit in our dishwasher racks. Thanks!
null on Jul 9, 2011
BEST ANSWER: i wouldn't put them in the dishwasher. Too precious. Wash and dry by hand, and preferably the next day, not after you've been drinking a few glasses of wine!
Does this come in a lead-free glass?
none on Dec 16, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question, this line does not offer a Lead-Free glass. You can take a look at the Fusion Classic line, they are all lead free crystal glasses. Please feel free to reach out to our sales consultants at 800-356-8466, and they can assist further.

Impressive Glasses for Impressive Wines
We love these glasses - have about a dozen now. They are fantastic for entertaining- guests are really wowed by the tulip shape. We have gotten to the point where we use them for most all of the wines we drink, red, white, pinot, cab... whatever- they just feel good to hold and drink from.

Great glass for pinot noirs
Beautiful glass. I was amazed at how it brings out characteristics of a pinot noir that can be missed with a "regular" wine glass. Large bowl, so storage may be an issue and definitely requires care when cleaning. Worth the effort, a little on the pricey side, but would buy this glass again. Its my go to glass when I have my friends over for a pinot noir tasting.

Best red wine glass EVER
Brings out the best of the wines bouquet, and large bowl makes it easy to swirl without ever splashing.

I'm a repeat buyer, and love this glass.

Love the glasses, but they are large!
I love the Riedel Vinum series of stemware. They are delicate and elegant, but good enough for everyday use!

These definitely enhance the flavors of Pinot Noir.

The biggest drawback is that I did not expect them to be so large, even with the XL label on them. They are extremely big.

A must!
These glasses are a must have to drink Oregon Pinot Noir in. They do exactly what a specific wine glass should do.

Perfect Oregon Pinot Noir glass
I did not know that this glass existed until August 2009 when my husband and I vacationed on the Oregon Coast. We stopped at Ponzi Wine Bar for a wine tasting and they provided these glasses to taste Oregon pinot noirs in. I already own the Vinum Extreme series for most wine types including pinot noirs but I just loved holding and drinking from this glass. It is a thinner glass but seems sturdy enough and the shape really brings out the best in the wine.

Great quality!
I really love these glasses. They are very elegant. I don't put them in the dishwasher, just because sometimes dishwashers will cause etching. I am 100% pleased with them.

Perfect for Oregon pinot noir!
Pinot noirs taste best with this design. This is the next best thing to crystal.

My girlfriend and I first used these while wine tasing in Oregon. They were EVERYWHERE. We were so impressed with them at the first vineyard tha they gave us a few to take home. After surviving the flight back to DC, we dropped one on the floor and the stem broke, so we bought more. Im impressed the bowl didn't break as well considering the height of the fall. The consumer version of the glass is actually much nicer than the commercial version. Very high quality crystal, large bowl, long stem, and they really do make pinot noir (especially from Oregon) better. They say dishwasher safe but crystal is porouse so soap will soak in and stain if you wash it in the dishwasher. I hand wash with a little bit of dish soap and rinse really well. With a good brush or sponge it takes about 30 seconds a glass and no soap clouds. All in all, every Riedel vinum glass is great if you dont mind spending a little extra. You definitely get what you pay for.
