Am running out of corks from other projects. Hope your corks are in good shape and represent valued wines.
Philip L on Jun 11, 2014
Using them for a wine rack table top. Up side is they look great! Down side is the cost. It took 6 bags to do a 17" x m30" table top! Oh Well! My daughter loves it and will have it forever. FYI I built the table out of recycled pallet wood. Looks very rustic!

I previously purchased the big wine cork board and overestimated the number of corks I already owned, so I bought these to finish making the cork board.

On the lazy susan do corks have to be cut to be the same height? How many cotrks come with the product? How many are needed? Can you place them and not glue them so they can be changed over time?
Diane on Feb 28, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Since all corks are different you may need to cut corks to fit.
No corks come with the product but you can buy corks.
If you want to leave them unglued that is up to you(obviously will not be as stable if unglued)

Need at least 250 to fill cork board!
No where did it mention that it will take about 250 corks to fill the board. I ordered 100 from you guys and it didn't even fill up half of it. With the price you sell these at, I went on[...] and ordered the remaining 150. I should have done that in the first place.

Great Variety, but Too Big For Kit
I was putting together the Large Cork Board Kit (available here) and ran low on my personal corks. I ordered 2 sets of these 50 used corks. They are much larger in size than corks I've been collecting for several years. Most have not been used in bottles; which is great because they have no cork screw holes. However, that means they are larger in width. If a buyer was to only use these corks on the kit, you would discover they do not fit the board properly. The two up, two sideways pattern doesn't work with the wider corks. I was able to juggle my old corks with these newer ones, but it was a real challenge; like a huge jigsaw puzzle with hot glue. I did love the variety of corks and the pictures and vineyards.

Looking For Corks From Premium Wines?
If you are looking for premium wine corks, better save your own or ask your friends to save for you. Of the 100 corks we ordered, about 6 or 7 were from premium wine bottles. Of the rest, most were from $10 bottles or less, while some were from do-it-your-self kits that had never been in a bottle. If where the corks came from isn't important too you, then place your order. You will get plenty of corks to complete most any project by ordering two of these cork packages.

Just what it says...
Needed more wine corks for a display on a dining room table. I didn't have enough of my own to fill the vase with the corks I had and the ornaments that were strewn through the vase. I added the 50 I bought to complete the look without having to wait until I drank all the wine!!

Excellent Quality And Variety
I ordered numerous bags and they all came without cracks or stains. There was a large variety of good names and very little duplication. This would be perfect for any wine enthusiast's craft project especially the trivet kits sold on this web site.
