Is it propane or natural wood? If propane, what size tank
Kathleen B on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Easy to use propane system (*tank not included) Standard tank - 5 gallons
Are the rocks included?
Eric B on Aug 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: rock are included!
Is the tank inside the unit or is it connected by an extension hose. Standard sized tanks are either a 1 lb tank, like the one used in a Coleman Stove or a 20 lb tank used in a b-b-q grill. I've never seen a 5 lb tank! Availability?
SUSAN F on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Check with local hardwood but would connect with hose

Can the propane tank fit inside the barrel?
meandruth on Oct 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A small sit in there however the door is too small to put it in there. What we did was drill a small hole at the bottom and ran the pipe up through there and out to a propane tank on the other side of Our Deck. We looked for anything specialized that might fit in that small door but there just isn't anything appropriate. Other than that it's a really nice fireplace.
Wood is flammable as is lacquer/polyurethane and other finishes that protect it from the weather. How is this constructed in order to reduce fire hazard?
Pen C on Oct 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Designed so no flame or high heat comes into contact with the barrel.
The unit came with a black ring that fit over the burner but the rocks go over those so what is it for?
Eric B on Sep 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: - The black ring is to go over the fire ring when not in use or stored for the winter.
If we could find a small enough tank can we put the tank inside the unit ?
Eric B on Sep 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes that is possible
Is there a hole in the bottom to fit over a stubbed up gas line?
Kirsten W on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Im sorry no there is not.
Can this be delivered to Europe - specifically The Netherlands?
Daniel on Aug 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We can deliver to your freight forwarder in the USA and they can bring it to the Netherlands. We do not ship these directly to the Netherlands.

Scott on Aug 14, 2016

Wine Barrell fire pit
The fire pit is very quaint and is very nice and works very good. My comment would be that they should design the door to accommodate a small propane tank inside instead of having it on the outside, there is enough room for a small tank if you could fit it in the unit. The picture on the website is misleading and does not show the line that comes out of the fire pit to a tank. The small slot is shown for the line feed so my guess is that the fire is photo shopped on the add.

Very satisfied!!
This is one of the coolest purchases I have made in a while. Everyone that sees it just loves it. This is extremely high quality and very well build. It does weigh a lot so be careful trying to move it yourself!

Needs to be able to put regular size propane tank inside
We were going to buy this until we read that you have to keep the propane tank outside of the barrel because it is too big to put inside. That is a very poor design. That is the only reason we did not buy it.
