Not worth ordering
By TVerified Purchaser from Houston TX on 9/3/2008
Pros:
Easy To Use
Cons:
Cheaply made
Best Uses:
At The Bar, In The Kitchen
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Would not recommend. The first one arrived broken - pen missing from metal cutter; the second arrived fine, but pen came out after first
few uses. These are cheaply made and not durable. Buy a better product instead. Don't waste your time or money.

Would not buy this again
By JCSVerified Purchaser from San Francisco on 4/22/2008
Cons:
Broke at first use, Cheaply made
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Entertainer
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

On the first day using this cutter the small pins fell out that hold the blades in place and of course were lost as they are so tiny. I'd only buy the Screwpull brand foilcutter. I've had a few of those and they have lasted a long time.

No wonder it is on sale
By BNVerified Reviewer from Castle Rock, CO on 4/13/2008
Cons:
Cutters aren't sharp, Flimsy, Screws don't stay in
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Entertainer, Practical
Bottom Line:

I have had a screwpull for about 8 years. The cutter lost one of its rollers so I purchased this item. I've gone back to my original cutter, as it works much better even with a missing part.

Cons:
Awkward To Use
Best Uses:
Wine Bottles
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:

I have been using foil cutters for years. Based on a recommendation from another Wine Enthusiast customer, I bought this and have been terribly disappointed. Have I all of a sudden forgotten how to use something so simple? I don't think so ... !

Don't Buy This
By PatSox1Verified Purchaser from Middletown, MD on 2/15/2008
Cons:
Flimsy
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

All three cutters I bought broke within two weeks. Flimsy just begins to describe how useless they are.

Practically Inadequate
By StewVerified Purchaser from San Antonio, TX on 2/7/2008
Cons:
Broke on first use, Flimsy, Not sharp enough
Describe Yourself:
Practical, Stylish
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The foil cutter blades are not sharp enough to cut through aluminum without much pressure. One blade became dislodged on the first use. It is barely adequate and I will probably look for another.
