I use this product to keep my red wines at a constant 59 degrees F, which is the 'perfect temperature' for storing and consuming these wines in the short term. The unit is stylish--to the extent that it complements the decor in the dining room and displays the wines elegantly. I would not recommend it for long-term storage, but for consuming great wine within a year or two it's a real asset. The only drawback is the tightness of the shelves - it's really a 24 bottle unit if you venture beyond wine styles outside of Bordeaux; otherwise, Cotes du Rhone, Pinot Noir and certainly Chardonnay styles will take up more space. I've removed one of the shelves to accommodate the various styles I typically store, and I've managed to fit 24 bottles in the unit 'comfortably'.

Perfect for my small NYC apartment. Holds its temperature beautifully. Very quiet, have to pay very close attention to hear it at all. Can fit 27 going in 'head-first'. Only ones that don't fit are a couple excessively extra-tall bottles of gruner veltliner. No longer have to worry about my wines getting cooked in the hot NYC summer!

This is a great product. It works flawlessly and it is as quiet as advertized. The only issue I have, is that it will not hold the 28 bottle capacity if you have larger bottles (eg. Chardonney, Pinot, Sparkling). In order to fit these bottle shapes, you need to remove one of the racks. So this fridge in reality has a 24-bottle capacity (not 28).

I'm very pleased with this wine frig. Ample room for 20+ assorted bottles. Unit took a number of hours to equilibrate but now holds mostly quietly at "55" which a good thermometer is reading "58." Seems to need to be located out from a wall 2-3 inches to hold temp. The true test will be June/July when we escape the heat and flip the house AC off.

The wine we collect comes in slightly larger bottles than normal. We had to remove 2 shelves and adjust the others to fit in 5 bottles per 4 rows; so make sure you have smaller size bottles if you wish to store 28. I wish I would have gotten a larger unit.

In my small, hot apartment, I am forced to keep this unit in my bedroom. The fridge is extremely quiet (I NEVER hear it). I have had no trouble keeping my wine at 55 degrees, despite an ambient air temperature of 75 to 80 in my place.
My only complaint is that the fridge really only holds 24 bottles (unless you are storing only standard cab bottles -- and that isn't realistic).

This product looks great, is very quiet, but the capacity is a bit misleading. yes, it has space for 28 bottles, but practically it will only fit 28 Riesling bottles! with all the shelves in, not even standard cabernet-style bottles will fit, let alone wider-bottoms bottles (ie champagne). I took out 2 shelves, taking the capacity down to 20 bottles, and then everything fits well.

We bought two. These were perfect for the person who enjoys wines, has a small collection on hand (20-40)of both reds and whites, and doesn't have a place in the house to maintain a constant temperature. They are small enough to put in two of the corners of our dining room. They are convenient, while being attractive.
I found the individual I spoke with to be very helpful in explaining terms I didn't recognize and to help narrow my search. I am very satisfied with every aspect of this purchase.

Waste of time and money. If all you are looking for is to upgrade from some shelving in a room, go to any store and buy a mini-fridge. Same thing, $$ less, and no window to let UV light in and spoil your wine. Shelves are adjustable, not really though, and very cheap. Cheap feeling all around, door, handle is cheap plastic, lock is a gimmick. Light is laughable. You cannot fit Champagne or chardonnay bottles in the shelving with the spacing required. In short, buy something else!

Good: very much as advertised
Not so: Makes a slight "hot plastic" odor, diminishing as it ages; was hoping for more of a "satin" or brushed stainless rather than "bright" or polished; manual not exactly correct: product has a screwed-on drip pan, not a removable ("Slide-out") one; would like to see power consumption expressed in watts; no direction for light use or replacement (eg is heat generated significant?); fan makes a slight noise, not actually "silent"
