Don't Bother With This

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Disappointing purchase! Temps vary 4-5 degrees above and below setting....Danby says that should not happen so a second unit was shipped and it is doing the same thing.
Also, to slide the racks out, the door must be opened well past 90 degrees (almost 160 degrees in fact). You get what you pay for.
I went ahead a bit the bullet and bought a Euro Cave 183 and I love it. A friend also has Euro 260 and he loves his too. What a wasted month with the Danby cooler.

The look is great and fits in well in the room we purchased it for. The unit stopped working and we had trouble finding someone to service this unit in our area. The unit NEVER kept steady temps and still does not even after service....
I guess its EuroCave for me next time...

I've noticed a 10 degree difference in temperature which I feel is too much.
