Beautiful mahogany cabinets
By Merlot MikeVerified Purchaser from Lake Arrowhead, CA on 7/10/2008
Pros:
Adjustable Shelving, Attractive Design, Quiet
Cons:
Can Not Adjust Shelving, Innacurate Temperature, Lack of depth for bottles, Space between shelves
Best Uses:
Bar, Dining Room, Kitchen
Describe Yourself:
Connoisseur
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The wood cabinets are good looking enough to accent any room. The units are quiet and having multiple temperature zones is a plus. On the down side you need to place a thermometer in each compartment to get an accurate temperature. The shelves are spaced very tightly making it impossible to remove bottles easily. Also, there is insufficient depth, especially in the middle of each shelve, for the length of many wine bottles due to the fan placement.

Not so great

Many of my bottles do not fit. Too tight, too narrow and the doors do not close.

I love this unit for the three climate controls. We keep our whites on top, casual reds in middle and the bottom is for our reseves and special occasions, i don't like the tight fit though. But overall this is a great unit for the money.

This wife didn't want to replace our small WE cabinet that worked just fine. But, this WE cabinet is wonderful--will match any furniture decor or color, or theme room with grace and although tall does not overbalance our sunroom. Please do advise your experts that this cabinet does come with handles. On calling them, they said it does not.

Solid Construction, but NOT Mahogany.
By ThirstyVerified Purchaser from Chicago on 2/14/2008
Cons:
Mis-Classified
Best Uses:
Dining room
Describe Yourself:

The device seems to be of solid construction, and good quality. I was trying to get a device that was of similar color to my mahogany table, and the pictures on the site approximated what I was looking for. When the device arrived, it was a dark red - a cherry, rather than a mahogany. I had to send it back...

Don"t advertise as mahagony. (To Red)
By JackVerified Purchaser from Castle Rock, Colorado on 2/14/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Doors sprung - shipping, Mahagony - Way to Red
Best Uses:
Expose in Hallway
Describe Yourself:
Casual Taster
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Mahagony is not a good description of the finish. Maroon/Red would be more accurate. I tried to put my units next to Mahagony house trim and the clash was terrible. I am having to have them faux painted to render the units display acceptable. Any recommendation would be qualified with respect to finish.

Attractive Design, Quiet
Cons:
NONE
Best Uses:
Pantry
Describe Yourself:

This is a great cellar and looks very nice. Just a few hints: Temperature controls not exact so need to purchase a thermometer. Bottles are different sizes so some do not fit perfectly.

Nice looking but not too functional
By KevinVerified Purchaser from Lake Charles, LA on 12/26/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design, Quiet
Cons:
Can Not Adjust Shelving, Innacurate Temperature, Too Small
Best Uses:
Spare Room
Describe Yourself:
Aspiring Enthusiast
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The shelving is unstable and too close together to fit slightly wider bottles. It does not accomadate bottles that are longer than the "standard" length. Temperature control is not exact.
