Attractive design

This product was a gift from my mother-in-law who is an avid collector. This particular unit does not cool properly! I keep my home at 74 degrees in the summer and 67 in the winter. Even by adjusting the digital temperature reader, it is far too cold (49 -51 degrees) in the winter and too warm (57 - 65) in the summer. Occasionally, I find myself opening the door or completely turning off the unit to achieve the correct temperature in the winter. This is the second unit that doesn't work properly, the first one that was ordered had to be returned. My advice is to spend a little more money on a Eurocave wine refrigerator because they have a much better design and for the upgraded, top notch features you receive for just a few hundred dollars more. The Torreta just simply is not a quality wine refrigerator. These are some of the problems I've experienced:

-Irregular temperature
-Inaccurate temperature
-Shelving materials could be better, they seem very flimsy and cheaply manufactured
-Does not protect wine from light or UV rays
-Light turns on only when the door is open
-Does not regulate humidity
