I had been saving wine corks for a long time knowing I wanted to do some kind of craft project with them. When I saw the ideas on your website, I was delighted. It was fun to place the corks in my own design. I am going to do another for a gift. Anyone would enjoy receiving one of these trays. They are clever and useful!

I had been saving wine corks for some time wondering what I would end up doing with them. I saw these clever ideas on the W E website and ordered one for myself. I use it on my home bar and in the family room to serve drinks and appetizers. I really liked the fact that there is no gluing and the glass wipes off easily.

Wine cork serving tray

Cons:
Corks move with cover
Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

We recently purchased a standalone bar for our basement and wanted something to protect the wood top when mixing drinks. I had seen this in a store and thought it would protect the bar as well as be a fun way to display my corks, which had been piling up in a jar. I am about 12 corks short from filling the tray, so I have lined them up starting from the outside working my way towards the center; to temporarily take up the space in the middle, I filled it with glass marbles. When I have enough corks to completely fill the tray, I am going to glue them together so they won't move because they tend to roll when you insert the clear plastic cover.
