We use these glasses every day and when we entertain. It holds the perfect amount of wine and has a uniquely attractive stem with a classically shaped bowl.
I use it for all my whites and some champagnes. Very nice glasses and I like the size of them. My only complaint with them is that they're pretty fragile. The one that I broke was while cleaning the rim of the glass and it broke off in my hand. other than that, a good buy and i like the lead-free crystal.
Hexagonal stems, somewhat cheap-looking step-like design at both the base of the glass and where the stem meets the cup. Less than I expected for a Riedel product. I think it is worth it to spring for the Riedel vinum line unless all you are looking for is durability.
At home we use these. If you spill it, you broke it.
We have used them several times. As always, Riedel glasses are excellent products.
Nice glasses, but so tall they barely fit in the dishwasher (only tipped at a precarious angle.) Not the best design for glasses touted as dishwasher safe.
use the glasses often; they are not only attractive but the design helps bring out the best characteristics of the wine. We put them in the dishwasher and they're ready for the next serving.
I think they make the wine taste better.
I was surprised by how much the shape of this chardonnay glass really enhances the flavor of the wine! It is a very stylish, understated design and although it feels the teensiest bit too delicate it is nevertheless a pleasure to serve wine in it.
