I can now enjoy the elegance and features of Riedel Crystal on an everyday basis without the worry of the delicacy of the glass. As a long time user of Riedel (which started during my overseas tour in Germany in '82) I have always enjoyed the tasting experience afforded by this fine crystal but have also lamented the loss of many a stem during and after a gathering of friends. While I still maintain a good selection of some of their finer glasses, I can relax and enjoy an occasional wine without the worry of premature breakage.

Attractive and functional design that lets all types of wine taste good. If you don't have the budget to buy the specific glass shape for each varietal, this is the only glass you need.

We use the goblets all the time including formal parties and special occasions. My husband swears the wine tastes better from these glasses. I think this design is the most elegant and really shows off a good glass of wine. They match everything. The only fault I have with them is that they are FRAGILE, way more so than my other crystal goblets. I've had those for 40 plus years! I've already broken a Riedel goblet.

Nice shaped glasses. Bought because thew were "dishwasher safe". In our house that is true, because they won't fit into our dishwasher. But I do like them, even though I hand wash them.

We bought these Riedel glasses after attending a wine tasting class that the instructor had us taste the same wine from the Riedel glass and a "joker" or bar glass. There was no comparison. It was like a magic trick.
